My Second Life in Another World

As night descends, a man sits alone, lost in thoughts of grief on his birthday, mourning the loss of his parents. Seeking solace, he turns to alcohol, hoping to numb the pain. But when he wakes the next day, he finds himself in a strange new world, gifted with powers he unknowingly acquired in his intoxicated state. Rather than succumbing to despair, he chooses to face the unknown with resilience and determination. Exploring this unfamiliar realm, he uncovers hidden truths about himself, unlocking a wellspring of abilities he never knew existed. Driven by an unwavering desire to be reunited with his parents, he embarks on a quest to understand his newfound powers and the world that now surrounds him. Throughout his journey, he forms alliances, overcomes adversaries, and lends a helping hand to those in need. If there are also those who pose a threat to his loved ones. He confronts these challenges head-on, employing diverse strategies beyond mere violence. From Solo Leveling to The Beginning After The End to Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, follow this man's story as he tries to make sense of his new reality and find his way back to his loved ones. …. Before you begin reading the story, I'd like to share a few important points. The main character (MC) is a good-natured and cheerful person, so don't expect him to become excessively violent or aggressive from the start. However, he won't let others walk all over him and will deal with anyone he sees as a potential threat. How he handles these situations won't always involve violence, but you'll understand more about this as you progress into the second part of the story. The first part is meant to be uplifting and doesn't involve much danger because the MC is already powerful. Its purpose is mainly to introduce the MC's personality and the female characters who will develop romantic feelings for him. I did my best with my writing skills at the time, so I apologize if it's not as good as you'd like. Your feedback and thoughts are welcome, as I value your input. While this story can be enjoyed as a lighthearted harem fanfic commonly found in web novels, if you take the time to explore the sentences and scenarios, you'll find deeper meaning beneath the surface. Ultimately, it's up to you as the reader to interpret and decide whether it's a typical fanfic with an overpowered MC and a harem or something more meaningful when read with greater thought and investment. I've learned this through my writing experiences. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts after reading. I deeply appreciate all of my readers, and I am truly grateful to those who enjoy reading this story. Your support means a lot to me. At the same time, I want to apologize to those who didn't find it appealing or satisfying. Anyway thanks for taking the time to engage with my work, and I will try to improve and deliver content that you may like one day. That is all, Thank you for reading. Note: This story is a fan fiction and I do not own any of the characters. He Made His Choice

The Supreme King, Yu Jung-hyuk.

"I'll Kill You!!"

But that didn't seem true anymore as…

'How did she block the attack from that psycho?' Dok-ja looked at Kanae who had taken the full brunt of the attack so that her group members don't get killed as a result.

"Out of my way before I kill you," Jung-hyuk's voice was chilling, if he had said that to anyone they would've cowered because of the intense aura coming out of him, But…

"You?" Kanae looked more confused when she heard that, it almost sounded like a joke. Even then that was aside the point since...

"I told you before..." Jung-hyuk's eyes looked to the side and saw a fist right in front of his face before he could even hear the words.

'When?' Jung-hyuk could barely even catch the silhouette of the person who punched him but there was no need to guess as he already knew who it was just from the voice and flying red hair.

BANG* BOOOOM*

"…That if you attack my group member again I'll kill you," Haru completed his words after Jung-hyuk was sent flying by his punch and smashed into the nearby building.

'I don't even know anymore,' Dok-ja's mental tier list just kept on changing every second and this made him more worried about the things that will come next.

But it seemed that things were far from calming down just yet.

"Haha, I knew it was a good idea," Han Soo-young was free from the ropes already and laughed, it was clear to see that the current actions of Jung-hyuk were her doing.

But Haru didn't look at her and walked towards the way he sent Jung-hyuk flying, he wasn't even interested in her and, to be honest, he didn't need to deal with her at all.

"This is troublesome," Hee-won and Hae-in were already headed for Soo-young in order to subdue her but...

"Hae-in come back!" Hae-in changed her trajectory mid-rush and turned towards Kanae who called for her.

There was a problem within their group, It was the former Tyrant King.

"Wahahaha!!! Die! Die! Death To All You Peasants!!!" He was wreaking havoc by attacking in all directions while being in the middle of Kanae's group.

So, Kanae had to protect her group members from his attacks by then she wouldn't be able to deal with him which is why she called for Hae-in.

"Ack!"

"Fall back everyon-Argh!"

A good amount of injuries started to pop up in Kanae's group as she was deflecting 'The Three Wheeled Ring' which sent out continuous circular slashes towards everyone in sight.

"I'll kill him before anyone dies," Hae-in was ready to do that but…

"No something is weird about him, he looks like he is under control," Kanae could feel it and Dok-ja knew the reason as well.

'It is his constellation that is forcing him,' Well he was partly right because.

"I made a deal with his constellation," Soo-young grinned as she took her sword and wallet back, these things were just thrown on the ground since no one was interested in them.

She made a deal with the constellation of the Former Tyrant King because he was too scared of Kanae to move on his own.

So the constellation struck a deal with Soo-young since if he intervened too much on his own, he would need to face the consequences for breaking the rules of probability.

"Do you think you have time to give exposition while fighting me?" Hee-won said while swinging at Soo-young who was barely able to dodge that.

"Guh! Why are you all so strong?" Soo-young couldn't help but curse while blocking Hee-won's heavy attacks, she was only able to even keep up with Hee-won thanks to her superior stats and maxed-out agility.

"I just had a nice teacher you see," Hee-won smiled while attacking Soo-young with quicker attacks.

"Damn it!" Soo-young had no choice but to create avatars and stall Hee-won for a bit as she turned around to dash.

Her destination was…

"It is coming to attack again!" It was Sang-Kyung and Ji-won who she was aiming for.

"Oh no, she is fast at running away," Hee-won was having a hard time catching up to Soo-young.

"Of course speed is important, Hahaha Slowpokes!" Soo-young grinned but her face froze the next important.

"You are right Speed is indeed very Important, but only in certain things," Hae-in had already appeared in front of her and swung at her.

TING!

"Got you!" Soo-young's grin widened as she blocked Hae-in's attack.

"You two look behind!!" Hee-won shouted at Sang-kyung and Ji-won but it was too late.

"ARGH!" Sang-Kyung was stabbed right in the stomach and his flag was snatched by a person wearing a black hood as Ji-won was defended by her second in command.

But the thing was that this person was invisible till now.

'That's the hermit's cloak that I gave Min-seob!' Dok-ja recognized the cloak in an instant as the cloaked person rushed towards Hae-in from behind to attack her.

And Soo-young made more avatars to attack Hae-in while blocking Hee-won so that they have a smaller chance to deal with the attack.

SHING*

"This is a little annoying," Even then Hae-in was quick and pushed Soo-young back while dealing with the person coming from behind her.

She cut down the avatars attacking from the front while stabbing the one behind her through the head.

"Here!" Even then the person moved and threw the flag in his hand towards Soo-young. That was another one of her Avatars that she had placed on standby around the place so it wouldn't really die.

'This is bad,' Dok-ja thought while looking at Haru and Jung-hyuk who had come out of the building, 'If they fight here, they'll kill each other, no Jung-hyuk was killed.'

Dok-ja could see that the difference between the two was just that big. Jung-hyuk had to use Resuscitation skill to heal himself after he was nearly one-shoted by Haru.

"Where is my sister?" Jung-hyuk asked in a chilling voice leaked out as blue lighting surrounded the sword and a deep red aura around his body.

"Don't know Don't care," Haru himself didn't seem to care much for the reason Jung-hyuk attacked.

'Sunfish Bastard, Why don't you use your damn Lie detecting skill at times like this?!' Dok-ja screamed in his mind but there was one big question in his mind.

'I was the one who sent Ji-hye to get Jung-hyuk's sister, So why is he after Haru? There is no way he came to that conclusion on his own,' Dok-ja's head turned to look at Soo-young who had just absorbed Sang-kyung's flag into her own and the grin on her face said everything.

'Damn it,' Dok-ja cursed as Haru and Jung-hyuk were just about to attack each other again, but there was nothing he could do about it.

This was the fight between two giants, to stop this you need someone else who was on their level or…

[Well Well, I do hate to interrupt when things are just getting a little interesting,] Dok-ja sighed in relief as the Dokkaebi came back to stop this. He wasn't just meddling without a reason.

[Number of Kings remaining: 7]

Even then it isn't that everyone was happy about it…

[The Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' is unhappy with interference.]

[The Constellation 'Desserts For Days' is clicking his tongue while eating Ice cream.]

[The Constellation 'Prisoner of The Golden Headband' has stopped eating his popcorn.]

[The Constellation 'History's First Loner' doesn't like the rude interference of the Dokkaebi 'Paul' between the duel.]

[The Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is impressed by the plans of Incarnation 'Han Soo-young']

[Many Constellations are unhappy with the abrupt intervention.]

[5,000 Coins have been sponsored.]

[We have reached the necessary number of Kings needed to start the main event, And Dear constellations I assure you that you would like that way more than this fight.] The Dokkaebi snapped his fingers while trying to control the situation, even though he was an intermediate-grade Dokkaebi, he wouldn't dare to piss off so many big names.

[The 'Last King's Qualification' has begun.]

[The Qualified Kings will move to the final testing place.]

And with that, all of the remaining kings were moved from all over Seoul to Gwang-hwamun Square inside the barrier that surrounded the Absolute throne.

"Hmm? Where did that Ahjussi go?" Jin-ah said as Dok-ja was also missing.

"He made his choice," Hae-in said and Hee-won sighed heavily, she had seen Dok-ja use the chaos to his advantage and steal one of the flags that Soo-young's avatar dropped when he was subdued by Haru, they weren't absorbed by anyone and were pretty much forgotten when one thing happening after another.

'I see that is why she didn't stop him,' Hee-won thought.
