"What happened Zenobia?" Haru asked as he was seemingly done with his own interpretation of Hae-in's intentions.
"Nothing… in particular," Zenobia coughed lightly as she can't really tell Haru that she actually did consider Hae-in's words, that was the reason why fried chicken was present on the menu last night. It was just that…
'I don't want to rush it, I might mess up what Haru is trying to do,' Zenobia thought as it didn't seem like he was totally oblivious to her interest.
"Are you sure you are fine? Maybe you should rest a little more," Haru said and made Zenobia turn her eyes back to his face, his concern was very clear for her to see.
In the time she had observed him, Haru wasn't the type of person to show concern just for anyone.
'Although his cheerful personality might make one believe otherwise, but that isn't really true,' Zenobia knew of it since she felt it first-hand, it may appear that you have gotten really close to him quickly but was far from the truth.
In reality, it takes a good amount of time before he would trust someone even a little which was very different from how he seemed at first glance, and it has become even more apparent after he had come to this world.
This is how many people are fooled when they talk to Haru.
"Zenobia? You are spacing out too much today," Haru said and she just smiled.
"I might need some rest like you suggested," Hearing this Haru sighed.
"I told you guys to be careful of your health, that is the most important thing you know,"
"I apologize for that, it is just that I wanted to make sure the people who trusted me are safe," Zenobia had been working quite hard to keep her group safe while keeping her abilities in check, which is what made it harder since she had to look for ways which wouldn't arouse suspicions.
"Well, as long as you rest now and don't do it again in the future, I can let you off the hook," Haru crossed his arms and said while Zenobia just smiled gently.
"Anyway, did you have any breakfast?" Haru asked and Zenobia shook her head. Well, she didn't even sleep during the night to keep an eye on Dok-ja and the Cheon-do area to make sure she doesn't miss something.
And the first thing she did after talking to Hae-in for more than an hour was talk to Haru, so she didn't have time to eat at all.
"Hmm, let's make bread," It was then that Haru a weird proclamation.
"Bread?" Zenobia asked and Haru nodded.
"Not just bread let's make some jam as well, you like it right?" Haru asked since…
"I do indeed like them but…." It was Zenobia's go-to breakfast or more like her only breakfast. Even though she had her reasons for it but…

It was clear that most of the constellations didn't have the wish to see Haru make bread and jam, not to mention that doing that wasn't easy right now because of the scarce amount of resources available.
Most of the people in Seoul were living off monster meat since that was the only available source of Food that was in abundance if you could hunt them that is.
And given the current situation no one would even think of baking their own bread even if they had the ingredients.
But such thoughts didn't apply to Haru who seemed to operate on his own level compared to others.
He did as he had proclaimed, Haru made bread with a stove and pot because they didn't have electricity to run the oven, and he used the little amount of fruit that Zenobia had in the food storage to make the jam.
And while Haru was doing that…
"Jin-ah why are you asleep again?" Zenobia had to wake up Jin-ah again, she had fallen asleep while leaning on Haru as he had his conversation with her and continued to sleep since Haru gently laid her down on the sofa before leaving.
"Eugh, where did he go? I need more sleep," Jin-ah said while rubbing her eyes as Zenobia sighed, that were some things that never changed about the people she knew and…
"Here, have some fresh bread and jam, Enjoy it, and don't be shy about asking for more," Haru came out with a big smile and placed the two items in front of her.

'I don't want it to change at all,' Zenobia thought as Haru took Jin-ah to the bathroom to get her face washed up, if left alone she wouldn't do it and most likely fall asleep again.
And it wasn't Jin-ah alone who had woken up now.
"Let me eat it first," Yoo-sung said as she saw Zenobia who was about to eat a slice of bread with jam on it without any hesitation.
What Yoo-sung implied here was clear, it would be a mistake to think of her as a child just because of her appearance, she had seen really bad things in the small amount of days she was on her own.
"You don't need to worry about Haru, He won't hurt me," Zenobia said trying to pacify the kid's doubts, she could easily understand why the Yoo-sung had those doubts, so she thought that it would be good to make her understand some things.
"But…" Yoo-sung was about to speak further but…
"Haru is someone who had saved me many times. So, there is no need to worry, you can trust him because if you do he'll always have your back whenever you face trouble," Zenobia said while Yoo-sung looked at her and then looked at the bathroom door.

'Hmm, It is indeed the best breakfast.'
Zenobia smiled while not seeing the way Yoo-sung was looking at her at the moment.
'Is it really that good?' Yoo-sung thought as she saw the delightful look on Zenobia's face.
"Here, you should eat as well," Zenobia noticed and gave her a slice of bread with a generous about of jam.
And since that day there were two people who thought that bread and jam was the best breakfast to ever exist.
Leaving that aside since there was nothing to do till Hae-in arrived Haru went and talked with Pil-du who wasn't very welcoming but….
'Someone drag him away, I beg you,' It wasn't like he had a choice in the matter.
"And you know what happened after we cut open the fish, i-" Haru was talking but he stopped since…
"Haru there is an update," Zenobia came looking for him.
"Yes, what happened?" Haru asked as Pil-du was looking at the two from the side.
'Yeah, he is getting stabbed for sure,' That was the only thought Pil-du could have after he remembered Queresha who was with Haru back at Chung-muro.
