A few days later,

Haru was looking at Kanae sparring with Alea on the training ground.

Kanae slashed her bokuto/Bokken(A wooden Katana) horizontally at a quick speed forcing Alea to block her attack head-on.

Alea was pushed back by the impact of the strike but she was still able to land on her feet stably. Kanae closed the distance and sent out a flurry of strikes with her swords while Alea could only dodge since parrying one of Kanae's strikes was just asking for trouble.

Alea was really quick on her feet but Kanae was still a monster even if she wasn't using magic with an insane amount of weights on her body.

Kanae who was in front of Alea vanished from her spot leaving Alea stunned. Haru saw Kanae appear right behind Alea while bringing her bokuto downwards.

'But even after that, Alea has a lot of talent, especially her perception is on another level,' Haru thought as Alea moved to the side avoiding the strike without even looking back and quickly swinging her sword to attack Kanae's neck, but her attack was blocked and she was sent flying by Kanae's kick to her stomach.

"She has a lot of potential as a warrior," Queresha spoke to Haru while handing him a cup of tea.

"You think the same?" Haru asked with a bit of surprise since Queresha is very strict when it comes to evaluating people.

"Yes, her perception is something that sets her apart from many people I have met and it has only been getting stronger after she lost her mana core which has helped her to train her perception more actively, If trained correctly she can develop it in a similar way Kenbunshoku Haki works, she might even be able to see into the future and that is the reason Kanae is pushing her like this," Queresha told her thoughts on this.

"That is interesting," Haru said with a nod, It was very impressive to have an ability like this.

'Maybe she had the potential to be like Rinia, But Alea's foresight is of a different type altogether,' Haru tapped his chin in contemplation, he hasn't met Rinia so he can't say much about it.

"Above all, she is someone with a strong will, If anyone else was in her situation they would've broken down till now, even I thought she might have a hard time after her setback and it might take her a lot of time to recoup or she might never recover from this, but it looks like I have been proven wrong," Queresha said slowly while looking at Alea still asking to go on even after being battered by Kanae, One should know that Kanae is very brutal during her training sessions, This didn't exclude herself. Kanae was more brutal on herself than others, if she made you do a hundred laps she herself will do two hundred that was how she trained.

"You look a bit conflicted there," Haru spoke to Queresha with a smile.

"Well, It is because I don't know if I should be happy that My Lord gained another capable subordinate or should I punish myself for my lack of foresight," Queresha spoke with a sad smile, she has lost a lot in her past because of her incompetence and after she got a second chance, She didnt want something similar to happen and it has made her a bit restless.

"You don't need to worry about such things, Things don't always go as they are planned that is just how it is, Unless you are Aizen and everything is part of your plan," Haru said with a chuckle. Queresha had question marks on her head since she didn't understand the reference.

"Lets take me for example, Whenever I thought about 'I will be sent to another world with powers of fictional characters and have a Harem of beautiful women' I slapped myself across the face to wake up from this weeb fantasy, I thought I'll just live out my life after marrying a woman if I fell in love with one, having a few kids and living the rest of my life in the countryside, But did any of it go as I thought it would? No, But do I hate this situation? Hell no, instead I feel really thankful since I got to meet all of you, It is something I won't trade for anything, If everything becomes predictable then it will be no fun," Haru said with a smile.

Queresha looked at Haru who was smiling happily and her restlessness eased a bit.

'Maybe I have been too obsessed with trying to predict everything to avoid every bad outcome, My Lord is correct I myself wouldn't be able to see myself fall so helplessly in love with a man when I was younger, even now I have a lot to learn,' Queresha thought but stopped when she felt a warm hand on her head.

"We have gotten off topic but what I said is my thoughts on the matter, And this doesn't mean you can lose caution ok? Caution is necessary unless you are a shounen protagonist," Haru spoke with a somewhat serious look.

"Kanae don't throw things at people," Haru spoke while catching the bokuto hurled at him.

"Then don't flirt in the open you bastard," Kanae shouted with a massive blush while Alea laughed helplessly after being flung away when she tried to attack Kanae during her outburst just now.

'How is she so good? I thought her guard was down,' Alea thought helplessly.

Haru just tilted his head since when was he flirting? If it is about him patting Queresha's head then Kanae has been able to get past it and she doesn't react to it, So what happened to her now?

"And also why are you guys at the door?" Haru looked at the door of the training room.

The door opened and revealed Hae-in, Jin-ah, and Zenobia.

"Shi shi, We were listening in on you," Jin-ah said with a grin.

"And you spectacularly ruined it again," Hae-in gave a thumbs up to Haru but there was a lovely smile on her face.

Zenobia was just blushing a little and didn't say anything, But it was clear she heard what he said.

"Oh, how embarrassing," Haru pouted with a little blush since they all heard what he said, it was a bit embarrassing.

"Kanae did you hear it too?" Haru asked Kanae making her flinch a little. But before she could say anything Jin-ah opened her mouth.

"Come on Haru Kanae Unnie definitely he- GYAH," And before she could complete her words she got a bokuto to her forehead by Kanae. Since her reaction speed wasn't fast enough she got hit and fell down with a bump on her head.

"W-Who heard you I was too busy with my training, I never heard anything about Meeting anyone," Kanae shouted angrily.

'She definitely heard it,' Everyone thought.

"You basically just confessed that you Whoops listened," Hae-in spoke while casually dodging the wooden sword. Kanae was livid seeing that while Alea was dumbfounded since her sword was stolen from her hands.

"Hae-in get your ass over here it is time that we settle this," Kanae ran up to Hae-in and the two started their usual 'training'.

Haru sighed while looking at them and patted Jin-ah's head because she came over crying. He still didn't know why Jin-ah didn't learn her lesson by now.

Queresha didn't care what was going on, she had stopped listening from the time Haru started to pat her head she was lost in comfort.

"So, Alea is there any problem with your condition?" Haru asked Alea as she walked over so that she doesn't get caught up in the fight between Hae-in and Kanae.

"I am feeling better than ever so don't worry," Alea said with a wide smile, She was in great condition minus her mana core but she didn't want to dwell on it since everyone here helped her a lot, from Haru to Kanae they all wanted her to not get held back by what has already passed, so she had to improve while facing the future and achieve what she wants.

'One day just you wait I'll be in that place one day,' Alea clenched her fist looking at Queresha and Jin-ah who were still enjoying Haru's pats.

"It looks like they are going to be at it for a while so let's move to the living room," Haru said making Zenobia, Queresha, Jin-ah, and Alea nod, They knew that Kanae and Hae-in when they started their fights, They would be at it for hours.

Thanks to Queresha's magic circles they didn't have to worry about the place collapsing at least. All things considered it was yet another lively morning for them.
