The first fight and some training

(I messed up on MC buff Femis's blessing it was suppos to say. Femis's blessing: The person who has this blessing gains one attribute point in each attribute every LVL. Sorry about the accident.)

*Ding. Skill Basic Scythe mastery has leveled up to LVL 2/5*

After hours of swinging my scythe trying to learn how to use it I finally got a message from the system saying it leveled up.

'Hmmm it seems that some skills can be leveled up and improved alot faster then others. I'm guessing it has to do with the environment because my darkness vision improves at a faster pace while trying to see in the dark. I'm guessing that if I'm in a fight it will help me improve my scythe mastery faster then trying to on my own. Let's think of some skills I can improve at a fast pace in this cave... I can try to improve appraisal by appraising everything over and over again. Maybe I could try using shadow magic because I'm in a dark area and that's the perfect environment for it. Yeah I'ma try learning and improving shadow magic.'

When I finished thinking I slowly sat back down putting my scythe on the floor in front of me. While sitting I started appraising all my items thinking of how to learn dark or shadow magic. After a while I decided to ask the system after appraising my scythe one more time.

[Basic Scythe: a basic Scythe used by the skeleton Alex. Has the ability of self repairing so it never breaks. Way to upgrade is N/A right now. ]

*Ding. Basic appraisal has leveled up to LVL 4/5.*

"Oooh appraisal leveled up again... Anyways system how do I use magic?" (Alex)

*Ding. Host must first sense the Mana in the air and then your body. Then you must choose what element or type of magic you wish to use. After that the rest is up to your imagination on how you want to use it.*

As I listened to what the system had to say I was a little suprised. After the system finished I closed my eyes trying to feel the Mana in the air like the system said. After a few minutes I started to feel something in the air. It felt weird like a bunch of weird little things floating around me.

After I sensed the Mana in the air I then started to try and sense the Mana inside me. This took a while as I was used to having a human body and not just being a skeleton so I was sensing where my body would have been including my skeleton. I then remembered I'm a skeleton now not a human so I started sensing only my new skeleton body.

An hour quickly went by but I had started to feel the Mana in my body. After another hour I could easily sense all the Mana in my body. When I finished sensing all my mana I started trying to single out the shadow element that I wanted to use. While I was doing that I failed to notice some odd noises coming from outside the cave I was in.

When I finished singling out the shadow element I slowly opened my eyes and started imagining ways to use it. While I started imagining ways to use my shadow element I noticed some noises coming from outside of my cave. I quickly stood up holding my scythe ready to attack whatever it was. Suddenly 2 short little green people with pointy ears, a long nose, and sharp scary looking teeth appeared from the exit.

They both looked at me confused as one of them lifted the dagger in it's hand pointing it at me. The other lifted the club in it's hands up ready to swing it at me. Out of nowhere the one with a dagger started yelling at me in some unknown language that I couldn't understand. After a bit it suddenly stoped yelling and leaped at me aiming it's dagger at where my throat would be as the other ran with it's small club in hand ready to swing it at me.

As they started attacking me I got scared and started backing away quickly but slipped and landed on my boney bottom. The first little green person flew over me because I fell over as it landed on the ground behind me as the second one went to swing it's club at my face. I got even more scared then I already was as I barely dodged his club. When he passed me I quickly use appraisal on the one holding a club.

When I quickly finished checking it's stats I realized my stupidity for not noticing it was a goblin in the first place and that other creatures don't gain AP like me. After I finished up my thoughts I noticed the dagger goblin coming up behind me.

Quickly swinging my scythe around at the goblins head I barely saw the suprised look it gave me in the dark. My scythe quickly slashed the goblins neck as it's head flew through the air quickly ending it's life.

*Ding. Host has killed a LVL 2 Goblin gaining 12 EXP.*

I was startled by the sudden system notification and almost got hit by the warrior goblin barely managing to dodge it's swinging club. The warrior goblin lost its balance and almost fell over. Taking that small chance given to me I quickly swung my scythe towards it's neck silently decapitating it.

After I got my notifications I suddenly felt a surge of energy flowing through my body. I noticed I suddenly felt alot better as I remembered about my only blessing. Noticing the bloody mess I made I slowly looked around. I looked at the 2 dead bodies and felt sick because this is my first time killing. Even if they are not human they look alot like one. I quickly calmed myself down thinking about what I did.

"Phew... calm down I gotta get use to this world... And killing.... Ok from now on it's kill or be killed so I gotta get my mentality together. Now Status." (Alex)

After checking my new stats I decided I will save my new AP for when I need it. I started searching the Goblin corpses for anything. All I could find that was usefully was there weapons. I quickly put the corpses outside of my cave and collected there weapons in my inventory in case I need them later.

I started cleaning my mess and when I finished I sat back down and started working on trying to use shadow magic again. A few hours later I had started getting use to controlling the Mana and using shadow magic.

*Ding. Host has learned the skill Basic Mana manipulation.*

*Ding. Host has learned the skill Basic shadow magic.*

I continued to work on my shadow magic and improve my use of it. After a few more hours and a few more notifications I finally got the notifications I was waiting for.

*Ding. Skill Basic Mana manipulation has leveled up to LVL 4/5.*

*Ding. Skill intermediate darkness vision has leveled up to LVL 9/10.*

*Ding. Skill Basic shadow magic has leveled up to LVL 5/5.*

*Ding. Skill Basic shadow magic has evolved into Intermediate shadow magic.*

When I got that notification I slowly stood up and decided it was time to leave my cave. I am leaving my cave because I felt that my shadow magic couldn't be improved much more unless used in a real battle. As I headed towards the exit of my cave I got my scythe ready for any attacks from outside.

I don't plan on having the MC appraise every skill he gets right as he gets them because he is not use to this world and the fact that strength is important yet. I am not at all good at fight scenes to I hope it wasn't to bad.
