_______________

Yuki looked at Yukana's smug face with and gritted his teeth. He knew she thought that this was some karma for what he did earlier.

He simply pouted and packed his bags. Even though he wanted to stay here, he knew he needed to head to his next class

As he stood up, an idea came to his head. He walked behind Yukana and blew into her ear.

"Kyaa!" Yukana screamed and looked to see Yuki running out the door.

"Dammit Yuki!" she shouted. She noticed the stares of the class and blushed as she sat back down.

....

Yuki walked into his next classroom with no expression. Although the previous Yuki didn't like playing instruments, it was still better than art or calligraphy for him.

He walked into the class and found an empty seat for himself. He noticed the looks he was getting from his classmate but didn't mind them at this point.

The classroom door and Yuki watched as the teacher walked in. Yuki had a weird smile as he stood up along with the rest of the class to greet the teacher.

"Alright today I won't give you a lot of work. I'll just let each of you play a piece and help you improve." Akane said

"Yes Minagawa-sensei." the class responded.

Yuki fetched the guitar he kept in the music room and sighed. Although the previous Yuki didn't like music, he still put effort into learning how to play the guitar simply because of a comment his mom once made.

Shaking his head to get rid of his thoughts, he moved to the back of the class to tune his guitar. He tested it out and saw a screen popped up.

[Skill [Instrumentalist] gained: F]

[Due to past life experience, skill [Instrumentalist] has levelled up : C]

Yuki looked at the screen with a bit of confusion. He thought he would get the skill [Music] which has a broader range, but he only got [Instrumentalist].

This meant that skills he gained would have a specific range, rather than a whole class. But then he gave his [Cooking] skill a weird glance.

'Well, I can't complain.' Yuki thought as he shrugged his shoulders.

He tried singing in a low voice and another screen appeared.

[Skill [Singer] gained: F]

[Due to past life experience, skill [Singer] has levelled up: D]

Unlike the other skills where he barely noticed the effects until later, with [Singer], he could immediately hear the change in his voice.

Afterall, the previous Yuki barely sang at all. He just didn't have the voice for it. But now, he was good enough to be slightly popular on the internet. Or maybe popular at a bar.

Getting rid of his distracting thoughts, Yuki noticed Akane walking up to him and figured she was probably done with the rest of the class.

"Yuki?" Akane asked.

"Yes Minagawa-sensei?" Yuki asked when he heard her questioning tone.

"I like what you've done with your hair." Akane complimented.

"Thank you, Minagawa-sensei." Yuki responded politely. He could he a few boys gritting their teeth in jealousy.

'If only they knew what their teacher was like outside of school.' Yuki thought as he scoffed in his mind

"Alright, go ahead."

"Yes."

Yuki thought for a while and decided to sing a song from his previous life. These were some of the feelings he had buried in his heart since he had arrived.

He took a deep breath and started to sing as he gently strummed his guitar.

<in the rain - Hatsune Miku>

<Feeling as if I'm holding my breath, curling up and hugging those knees of mine

outside the closed window, the sky has begun to cry

endlessly calling out your name, in this voice that's grown hoarse

it's time to stop doing it over & over again

A world that I open my umbrella and step forward into

a hollow world that has grown muddy & dull

moving toward the path we once walked

before the pouring rain completely washes away that color of yours>

....

Akane was surprised to see the skill Yuki display as he played. As his teacher, she knew better than anyone else what his level was like.

But more than that, she was surprised to hear the lyrics of the song. She realised that she didn't know the lyrics at all.

'Could it be an original? That's impossible.' She firmly denied the possiblity.

'But then again...' Akane looked at Yuki and realised his bearing was completely different from before.

A lot of people do change after breakups, and from what she could hear, this was a breakup song.

Akane thought about the gloomy Yuki that had walked into her class 'Perhaps that was post-breakup blues?'

She didn't know her students much since she was a new teacher, but she had definetely changed her impression of Yuki at this moment.

....

<Always lapsing into that habit of searching for you

even now, once again standing alone

staring up at the sky which seems like it will fall down onto me

having been waiting for a glimpse of blue to peek out from behind the clouds

So cold that it feels like

it's continuously piercing my chest,

the sound of the rain is all that echoes around me

Hey, I beg of you...

rain, rain go away...

This body, which once touched and held you, now aches

your memory is etched into these eyes and can't be erased

that voice still causes these eardrums to quiver

even after all these times

Where are you right now? who are you with?

hey, just supposing

if my voice could ring out

and reach to wherever you are,

I'd never let go of that hand again

As if mirroring that feeling in my heart,

any sense of warmth is wiped away

as I grow colder and colder

It hurts so much

like this. Where are you now?

I am still living on here alone

waiting for a sky like the one from those days we spent together

Even now, just like those days long past,

since I can surely smile like I did back then...

hey, that's why, please, just please...

hey, I beg of you...

rain, rain, go away...>

For the first time since he had arrived, Yuki finally shed a tear of sorrow.
