Ashley's POV

*Before one of Chase's men found something.*

/"I'm Vincent Lucardo, nice to finally meet you./"

I stare wide eyes at him. His the man. The one that killed my dad, mom, and Ace. His the monster. I grab my hands off his tight hold and tried to open the car door but it couldn't open.

/"Sorry, cupcake but it can't open./" Tears start falling down my cheeks. I wanted to fight him, jump on him and do all I can. But I'm not alone. I now have a baby to take care of. If I try to lose my anger on him, he might hurt my baby.

Tears continue flowing down my cheeks. I can't believe I'm with the man that broke the light, the happiness in my family.

/"You’re a monster!/" My face wipes to the side from the hot sting on my cheek. He slapped me.

/"I don't mind killing you right now. So watch that pretty mouth of yours./" I touch my cheek and more tears comes out. After a few minutes of silence, I ask.
