Chapter 13: Justice

(After Class during the end of the school)

"Ah" a small boy cried out, the boy was being kicked by a few bullies. That boy was Dexter.

Dexter had decided since the best way to get close to Nathaniel would be to get a few bullies to attack him, so he did just that he passed by a few bullies and loudly exclaimed "I can't believe that after years of begging I finally have enough copper to pay for my sister's recovery medicine."

The bullies were easily lured since it cost at least 1 silver for recovery medicine.

Dexter had made sure that Nathaniel was nearby so that he would help him.

"What do guys think your doing to him!"

Nathaniel cried out in anger.

The bullies quickly scurried away since they knew he was a noble.

"Are you ok? I understand that you feel hurt I know it's hard to get bullied" Nathaniel asked with pity in his eyes, Nathaniel felt this rush of superiority whenever he saw bullies run away from him, it made him feel strong and powerful, it stroked his ego.

"I'm fine thank you, I'm just so frustrated I'm so tired of being bullied what did I do to deserve this." Dexter whispered out through his tears.

"It's ok, I can make sure you don't get bullied anymore." Nathaniel said with pride "then they wouldn't dare bully you."

"But they will start bullying me the moment you leave, I'll never be able to have a moment of peace" Dexter said looking sad and lonely.

"I can be your friend plus you seem nice I'm sure my friends would like you too" Nathaniel replies after considering it.

"You would be my friend? Thank you!" Dexter said with a happy smile, tears still streaming down his face.

"Since the school days over I can introduce you to my friends." Nathaniel said with an equally happy face.

Dexter got up and followed him as he led him to his friends...
