The guards bowed to him and stepped aside. Alma smiled as she saw Blaze coming, her eyes filled with tears.

Blaze scowled at the guards before turning his gaze to Alma. "What are you yelling for?" He asked with a cold tone. "This is a hospital. The patients will feel uncomfortable if you keep yelling. Do I need to tell you this?"

"I won’t yell." Alma shook her head. "I will be obedient. I will do whatever you say. Please, forgive me." She folded her hands and gave him an imploring look.

Blaze chuckled dryly. "You haven’t changed a bit. You are as phony as before. I am sick of your fake apologies and crocodile tears. It is not going to work anymore."

"No, no, no… Blaze… I am not faking." Alma rushed over to him and grabbed his hands. "I am truly sorry. I have learned my lesson. I realized what I did was wrong. Please forgive me and give me a chance."
