Chapter 39 Blaze becomes a bloodthirsty monster

"Grr…" Blaze roared and wrinkled his snout, his razor-sharp incisors gleaming. He threw his arm into him.

Gayle ducked and took a step back, his head bowed even further. He tucked his tail between his hind legs, his ears flat on his head.

"Grr…" Blaze growled once again in a threatening way, asking him to step aside. He didn’t attack him, though.

Gayle approached him slowly, even though he was trembling in fear.

Blaze stood still, a bone-chilling snarl escaping from his throat.

Gayle put his snout against Blaze’s snout. "Please calm down, alpha," he mind-linked with Blaze. "The pack is scared."

"Grr…" Blaze roared, his eyes wandering around.

He noticed the fear in the eyes of the people around him. Then his gaze dropped to the corpses littered on the ground. Wherever he looked, he saw nothing but blood. Shredded limbs of the rogues were strewn on the ground. It was a gut-twisting sight.
