Do you miss your parents

“Am sorry If I bring that up, I hate seeing you cry,” he said and she use the wiper to clean her tears.

They both arrive home and Mrs Bianca welcome them inside         

“Mum you are back home early today,” Steve remarked

“Yes I have finished attending to all my patients, come and eat I have made dinner,” she said leading them inside the house.

“Mum we just arrive and you want us to eat that’s unhygienic,” he said and look around the house and spotted  Rachael at the dining table eating like a hungry lion.

“When did you get there? He asks looking at her, she moves her mouth slowly.

“Come on I told you I was hungry I didn’t eat in the cafeteria did I? she ask and he sighs and started walking to his room.

“What happen dear why didn’t you eat at the cafeteria? Mrs Bianca asks stroking her hair.

“There was a…she pauses and looks at Steve who was shaking his head asking her not to talk.

“Where is Lily?” she asks changing the topic.

“She is not back from school yet.” Mrs Bianca replied

“Okay,” Rachael mumbled and continue eating her food.

“Take it, easy dear, don’t you miss your father.” Mrs Bianca ask and Rachael rolls her eyes

“Not again,” she muttered underneath her breath.

“What do you mean by not again.” Mrs Bianca inquired.

“Can we talk about that some other time?” she asks chewing her food.

“Yes but….. Bianca pause and eyed Mr Davis as he walk into the house she runs to him and hug him taking his briefcase from him.

“You sure are happy to see me, where is my little princess,” he asked looking around.

“She is not back yet.” Mrs Bianca replied and Lily walk into the house with the driver

“She is here, speak of the devil,” she said and Lily run to her.

“Mum  I went to play basketball today at school it was fun.” she beamed

“Good evening sir, Rachael said standing from the dining table

“Evening my dear how was school?”Mr Davis ask

“It was good,” she said twisting her mouth

“Where is Steve? He asks

“He is upstairs,” she replied walking up the stairs and bump into Steve who was stroking his wet hair, she blushes at the sight.

“Watch where you are going! he whined.

“You are the one who should watch where you are going.” She and raise her head up walking to her room. Steve's eyes lit as he watch her go.

The next day

Steve and Jane's tiptoed into a classroom

“Those are the guys that have the gut to bully my cousin I will teach them a lesson,” he whispers

“That’s good let’s teach them a lesson but what’s your plan?” she asks

“My plan is to glue them to their seats,” Steve said bringing out glue from his bag

“Nice go and put the glue while I distract them,” she said walking towards a desk in the class, she goes down on her knees and her head under the desk with her leg outside the desk.
