Class captain

Rachael smirked evilly, looking at her.

"So she thinks she can beat me with the voice or hers." Rachael muttered and rolled her eyes.

Lisa finished singing and handed the mic to the teacher. She settled down in her seat and looked at Rachael.

Rachael walk to the front of the class, it was as if she was in the spotlight.

"I would like to sing a song. It’s titled "A Dream is a Wish." Rachael muttered.

"Go ahead, darling, no one is stopping you." The teacher said taking notes."

                "A dream is a wish, your heart makes…"

                  "When you are fast asleep…"

              "In dreams, you will lose your heartache……"

                "Whatever you wish for, you will see…."

                "Have fate in your dreams and somedayyy."

                "Your rainbow will come smiling in soon…."

                    "No matter what your heart is dreaming.."

   "if you keep on believing that dream that you wish will come trueeeeee."

All the students started clapping. Her voice was magnificent.

Lisa hid her face under the table. She was embarrassed.

"I will get you Rachael." She muttered, gnashing her teeth.

"I must say, she indeed has a great voice," one of her friends remarks, and Lisa glares at her.

"I mean, you have a beautiful voice." She muttered with a toothy smile.

"Better." Lisa said, lifting her and glaring at Rachael as she walked past them to her seat.

"The new class captain is Rachael Ray." The teacher announced, and all the students started cheering.

"Rachael, you will be in charge of your talent show this year." The teacher beamed, and Rachael started crying.

"Why are you crying, Miss Ray?" the teacher inquired.

"It’s tears of joy." Tessie replied, stroking her back.

After a series of lessons, the class ended and Rachael stood up immediately and grabbed her back.

"Where are you going?" Tessie inquired.

"To see Steve." She muttered and started running outside the class.

Lisa sighted Rachael and started walking outside the class. She was trailing Rachael.

Rachael walk to the programming class and stand outside waiting for the students to start coming out. Christian and his friends walk out of the class and his eyes landed on Rachael.

"What are you doing here?" Christian inquired.

"Don’t you know she used to attend this class." One of them added, and they burst into laughter.

"The knowledge must have been too much for her to handle." Christian remarks, and they walk away.

Steve started walking out of the class with the dog in his right hand and their eyes met.

Rachael ran to embrace him. She didn’t care he was holding a dog. Steve was marveled. He open his  eyes wide in surprise and stroke her back as she hugged him.

"Do you miss me that much?" he inquired and she pulled away from the hug.

"I miss you more than life itself." She muttered, starring at him.

"So what are you up to?" Steve inquired, walking away with her.

"Nothing I just wanted to come and see you, I am glad you are alright." She beamed.

"we still haven’t uncover the misery of who did that to me but how are you?" he ask starring at her.
