A system alert lets Jack know to come to the quest.

However, the mission has two objectives to choose from.

One is taking the survivors out of the city, and the other is heading to the Starport.

The latter is relatively easy compared to the former.

It's mutants, the product of generations of contamination by gene-stealer originators.

They ran wildly down the main road like wild beasts with abhorrent faces.

Fire, fire, free fire!

It was far away, but it was within range of the laser rifles the soldiers were holding.

Brian gave the order to fire.

The soldiers behind the bunker were the first to fire.

With the distinctive sound of the laser rifle's gunfire, the red laser beams attacked the running mutants.
