My relationship

My husband is a pastor and ladies are always asking me what did I cook for him. This question is personal and I consider it rude. How should I answer them?

I'm afraid this is what you get for marrying the pastor; he is public property, as far as the ladies at your church are concerned. It's a bit like marrying into minor (or even major) royalty; he is the star of the show, and you are a small obstacle between the congregation and him.

They're partly being just polite, or trying to, and partly making sure that he's being properly looked after. They obviously like him, they mean well, and they aren't trying to offend you, I'm quite sure, so don't take offence where clearly none was intended. Smile if you can, remember that it's kindly meant, and follow the excellent advice in other answers on what to say.
