Chapter 50: I love her

The night went well, we enjoyed what we needed to enjoy. Well... It may be awkward for me to but all I can think is she is already married and I have Jean on my side. Jean is the one who made me happy, she is always right here on my side how can I feel sad when I know someone is doing her best to make me happy?

We kinda get busted yesterday night, we drank until midnight not caring about working or any schedule. We just enjoy our time together.

I woke up beside Jean arms wrapped around me, how lovely to be beside your love. She tightened her arms around me which made me difficult to breathe, I tried to loosen her arms but damn this girl is strong. I gently tapped her arms to wake her up and of course she didn't even flinch or what. This is what I don't want to her, she doesn't wake up that easily. I was left with nothing but to use all my power to push her arms and thanks to god I managed to get up.

I didn't bother to wake her up 'cause we don't have any plans or work so I let her sleep more as I get my ass up to the kitchen to cook something to eat. It is almost past noon and we need to eat breakfast at least.

I am happy with this everyday routine, what I can say? I think I am happy with my life now. It was a long ride but I managed to get over that phase. Thanks to Jean, she is my everything now, I can't lose the one that puts a smile on my lips.

After humming while cooking, I am done making food. Bacon and sunny side up is enough for breakfast. I also prepared a coffee, and all of the food was ready. All I need to do is wake Jean up but nope, I almost scream when she suddenly appears on my back.

"Omygod, what the hell love? You scared me, I didn't know you were already awake." I said to her as I smacked her shoulder. She smiled softly and hugged me. "Good morning sunshine." She said as her head landed on my shoulder while giving me a back hug. I brushed her hair and said, "Yeah, Good morning, Love."

"Go and wash your face, your saliva is all over your face." I teased her and I went to the table to settle the plates and the food. "No, it's not!" She said while running towards the bathroom which made me giggle.

Minutes passed she came back while wiping her face with dry clothes. "Come on, sit down already," I said to her reaching out for the clothes to hang by the side of the window.

"Thank you love." She said then sat down, she put the spoon in her mouth. As usual, she is always eating first the egg yolk of the egg. "I've been thinking of it, what made Keisha come back here?" She said while eating then looked at me. "Let's not talk about that while eating darling. Pay attention to your food." I said to her while looking at her and then her food. "It is still not certain and I don't think we need to worry about her reason for coming back. She can come back here any time." I said as I took a bite of the bacon I was eating. "Well, you have a point. With that, let's go to the date, shall we?" She said looking at me while smiling.

"That is a wonderful idea Love, okay let's go. Also, we need to go to the grocery, we are short on the food on the fridge so after the date let's hit the grocery store." After I talked, I took my last bite then went up and kissed her on the cheek before going to the kitchen.

She washed the dishes while I cleaned the table.

"Honey, what time we should go out?" She shouted from the kitchen. "How about 2 pm? What do you think?" I shouted back in response. "Okay, Darling~"

I open the TV but then I reach out to one of the books beside the couch. I kinda read it once but it keeps me wanting to read it and read it. I kinda really like the plot twist and it is written well.

"You open the TV but you are here, sitting on the couch reading the book that you've been reading before." I heard as Jean approached.

"You know how I like this book, it is such a wonderful work," I said still reading the book. "I once read but I didn't finish it before I even went halfway through the book. I got feeling bad about the second leading man." She said and she put her arms around my shoulder. "It kinda you know, it is always included in the story. There's always a person who needs to let go of the hands of their loved ones." I said to her, it kinda hurt me I don't know why but suddenly my chest tightened.

She watches the TV while I am lying down in her lap while reading. We stayed like this for hours, and we kinda didn't realize the time.

I was surprised when she suddenly jumped and shouted. "Love, it is already 1 pm. We have a date remember?" I immediately looked at the time and she was right so I stood up from lying in her lap. "You are right, what are you waiting come on let's go to the bathroom." I returned the book from the shelves and went to the room. "Hurry up love!" I said when I saw her still sitting on the couch.

"I'll be there love." She said as she chuckled at my reaction.

She followed me in the room. "So we are going to shower together. Are you inviting me to you know what I mean." She said while making a weird gesture in her hands. "What the hell you are thinking Jeannette! We are going to take a bath to go out for the day not to have sex!!" I said my face was red like a tomato. What a naughty girl this girl is!

"Let's take a shower already okay? Do you want to go on a date or not?" I said to her as she teased me to whatever she wanted." Okay, boss madam, I am going to behave." She said while walking towards the bathroom.

"One round doesn't hurt don't you think?" She said as she stripped and gave me a naughty look. "JEANNETTE WARDEN!!" I shouted and was ready to smack her but then she locked the door of the bathroom.

I sigh and all I can do is smile at her behavior. How the hell do I see myself laughing at this situation, she really a silly girl.
