Chapter 5: Old friend
It seems she doesn't remember what happened last night, let's just act like nothing happened. I also don't think that she likes me. And if it is not true I have to not expect too much. I still don't know if it's true or not.
Works continue like usual and it was already evening it's time for me to go home but I saw Keil waiting for me outside the building. I'm upset at him because he doesn't bother to help me with our drunk friend, that drunk bastard. After all, if alcohol were talked about, I'm going.
" Look who's here, this drunk bastard that let me handle our drunk friend alone and act like he doesn't know us and continued to dance and drink till morning. So? what are you doing here? ". I asked Keil. " Woah woah, calm down first. I wanted to say sorry to you and Kei. I shouldn't let you alone especially Kei even though I'm the one who invited Kei to drink with us yesterday. I didn't think about you and Kei and I started drinking and enjoying alone. I'm so sorry ". Kiel seek for my forgiveness. " Oh god Kiel stop it, it grosses me out. I know that your sorry is fake so what do you want? '. My response to Kiel is sorry. " Do you want to drink a few bottles? Keil asked me while leaning on his car. " Again? after what happened yesterday, my god Kiel you drunk bastard ". I respond to his question. " Well, you and Keisha just vanished last night ". Keil answered me. Who's fault? Keisha was so drunk yesterday so I took her home ". I answered him. " Well, okay let's drink, you little shit ".
I'm the type of person who's gonna not turned down alcohol especially if it's free. Whenever you said free, just stop and I will go with you. So when Kiel asks me to go drink with him at the bar we immediately get to his car and Kiel who's the one driving. After a few minutes of driving we arrived at the bar.
" Hey, Keil, and Angge. Nice to see you here ". Someone we know speaks to us after we enter the bar. " Oh hi, Jeanneth how are you? It's nice to see you after such a long time ago. Since Highschool right? ". I answered her while smiling. " Are you going to get drunk? Haha, I know Kiel so going to enjoy tonight? ". Jeanneth joke about how Kiel is such a drunk bastard. " Well, Keil invited me to drink so that's why I'm here. I couldn't enjoy myself yesterday so yeah, getting drunk ". I answered her.
Our conversation lasted for a long time and when I turned my back to ask Keil what he wanted to drink, he was no longer behind me and I saw him dancing while drinking. Sighing cause after Kiel sorry to me he's still doing the same. Since Kiel is not by my side and enjoying himself again. I just invited Jeanneth to drink with me.
" Keil? Mygad he's already dancing, sigh after you invite me and said sorry, you just drink on your own again gosh. Just sigh cause I know Kiel too. " Um, so Jeanneth do you want to drink with me? ". I asked Jeanneth. I notice that Jeanette smiles and her face turns red. " Sure it's such a pleasure to drink with you ". Jean answered.
As the time flies so fast I got so much fun to talk and drink with Jean. I didn't think about our surroundings and just enjoy the moment. Jean is attending the same class in elementary and high school and when we attend college she transferred to another school and move to another city because of her dad's job. She just returned here when we became an adult.
" Omygad it's already midnight, it's a good thing there's no work tomorrow and it's not my day off ". It bursts out of my mouth when I saw the time. " Hey Jean, are you alright? You seem drunk, do you want me to bring you home? ". I asked Jean. " Oh no, I'm fine, I can go home by myself thank you ". I'm worried about her but I'm pretty drunk too. " Oh okay sorry but I'm going home, just look for Keil. Bye, it's so fun to talk to you. If you mind text me when you get home. Take care, Jeanette, hope we see each other very soon. Thank you. I said those words while smiling and went to find my friend.
" Keil, Keil, Keil let's go home. It is already midnight ". Kiel's response makes my blood boil. " Oh, I'm not finished you can go home by yourself sorry. That is his response to me. " Oh my god Keil after you invited me aish fine bye ".
After that argument, I went straight home I don't have any energy to get angry. I can't even walk into my room, I'll just sleep on the couch. I drink too much alcohol.
Man, I'm tired of that bullshit after asking me out, he'll leave me at the bar and be on my own, then when I go home, he'll sulk by himself. Is he crazy, I don't want to think about it. I just fell asleep outside of my room because of how many drinks I had.
