Chapter 49: Story

Eli planned to hang with us tonight, I don't know what I'm supposed to do. As you know, it is already awkward that my ex and the girl I have something relationship are with in the same room right now but then here comes the third girl in my life. How should I act right now?

"Are you even alone?" I said to Eli, she made a face that she realized she was with someone. "Oh, that's right I'm with my friend. Give me a second, I'll be right back." As she walks she shouts and drinks her drink.

I went straight and asked Alisha about Eli. "Are you okay with Eli joining us?" "Ah, yes, please. It's okay, actually, we are close. So, if you guys don't mind my sister joining please let her be." She smiled, she was glowing. "How I can reject that smile." I smile at her and so I already hear Eli's voice from afar. "How can you leave your friend behind, how cruel of you Eli," I said to Eli. "For you baby, I will leave anyone, anybody." She flirted and said to me. As expected I can feel the two glare at Eli after she spoke that way to me.

"What are you guys waiting for, let's look for a table and drink all night." Eli said as she shouted, "LET'S GO CRAZY!" I didn't expect that Max would also shout and walk along with Eli.

After minutes of searching, we saw an available table for us. We sat and ordered right away. Jean sat on my right side while Eli was on my left side. It's so ungainly, Keisha is sitting in the opposite direction of mine. What could happen more about this? Damn, just kill me.....

Maxine broke the silence as Seb just literally looking at his girlfriend and I couldn't even talk about that situation, thankful Maxine started talking to Eli. Max seems like the energy of Eli.

"So so so Eli right? You seem close with our baby Ingel, how did you actually meet?" Maxine said to Eli, Eli stop drinking for a moment. I hope she won't be talking about what happened to us.

"Well..." With her attitude, I am really uneasy, I am afraid she will spill the tea. "We just shared a few drinks so we kinda become that close." Eli looked at me with her greedy eyes and smirk. She really knows how to make me nervous, that's what I don't like about her...

"It suddenly sank into my mind Ali, what are the exact reasons why are you with them?" Eli's voice suddenly turns to sound serious. "Well, my boyfriend is here so yeah." She smiled at her sister. "Your what? Who?" Eli's tone became more serious, it will be okay?

"Here," Alisha said as she pointed at Sebastian. "Uh yes, sorry for the late introduction. I am her boyfriend, sister-in-law." Sebastian said. "Aren't you the handsome man I saw with Ingel?" Eli said with a confused face. "Yes, that's me," Sebastian said as I heard Maxine giggling in the corner. "Is it funny? Seem my brother's sister-in-law is here is it nice to have a bond with you Eli? I'm his sister, by the way, Maxine, Maxine Alonzo." Maxine said as she reached her hand waiting for a handshake by Elizabeth. "Alonzo? Is it the same surname as Ingel's ex-girlfriend?" Eli asked. "You seem to already know me, should I still introduce myself?" Keisha suddenly talked. " Wait, don't tell me Ingel's ex is here with us right now?" Eli said. "Do you have a problem with your hearing or you just can't catch up with the conversation?" Keisha said as she gave cold eyes to Eli.

"Nope, I clearly understand what you said. I'm just shocked you know. Nice to meet you, I'm Eli." Eli's hand is waiting for a handshake while Keisha just looking at her and sips her drink. Eli left hanging her hand waiting.

Eli clapped and said, "What a nice evening."

After that moment Maxine started talking and telling to us what happened to them in 2 years. Thanks to her all of us can smile and I feel somehow relieved. Maxine tells us how she and her fiancé decided to get married here that's why they came back so soon. I still don't know why Keisha came back.

Am I wrong? Am I wrong to have this feeling inside of me for Keisha? With this silence with her, I want to embrace her just like I used to do but sad to say all changed. All I want is going to remain as desired. This thought always sinking into my mind and asked myself. "What happened to us Kei?" "If we fight our love do you think we are the ones who are happy?" "Will we be still happy? The two of us." What's wrong with me, all I can do is sigh as my chest keeps tightening with this sentiment I'm having right now.

I will put my feelings aside for now and enjoy the moment. Well, we are here to catch up on things and enjoy. I drank my drink straight to my throat and smiled. I joined the conversation and talked and asked Maxine. It shame if I didn't enjoy right?

"So Max, when is the wedding going to happen?" I asked her and she answered, "I and my fiancé thought that maybe this month would be nice, what do you think?" Max said and asked us. "Yeah, that would be great Max, I can't still our Max is going to be married. I'm so happy for you Max, congrats." I said while touching Maxine's hands. "By the way, I suddenly think about it. What are you gonna do after the wedding? Are you guys going back to the state?" I asked Max and Max looked at Kei. "Me and my Fiancé yes, but I know Keisha will stay here," Maxine said to us I only nodded in response.

"How's Kiel?" we suddenly turned our heads to the one talking. "Bro? Well, we still don't have any connection to him." Seb said. "Really? I'm curious about his condition. Do you guys have any idea where he would be?" Keisha asked. "We don't have any idea his whereabouts." finally Jean talked. "How about you guys? Did Kiel contact you guys?" Jean added. "One time...." Max said to us, it's new news to us so we kinda give of shocked reaction. "Did he say where he is?" I asked, I badly wanted to meet him once again. "Nope, he just called us, we didn't have any conversation so yeah," Max said.

The siblings were left out of our conversation as the four of us left silent. We heard a clapped sound and a drinking sound. "I know you guys are down but for now let's enjoy hmm?" Eli said as she smiled at us. I chuckle and start laughing. Eli grabbed my head and started pinching my cheek. "How dare you laugh at me hmm." she is laughing pinching my cheeks and then Maxine starts giggling and others also put a smile on their face as well Keisha.

Minutes passed, and we started drinking again and laughing. Having a conversation like normal and enjoying the moment. Without Kiel, it still feels like he is with us tonight.
