Facing her phobia (I)

"It's nothing, don't worry alright?" he said trying to soothe her.

"How can I not worry? You shouldn't have break my fall, I have already made calculations and was planning to jump onto the bed of grass and the likelihood of getting injured is minimal. Why are you so silly? Plus what on earth were you thinking blocking my way like that?" she went on nagging but at the same time her face softened and it was full with concern.

She fished out a mini first aid box from her backpack and cleanse the wound subsequently she applied some antiseptic on the wound.

He just stared at her while she busied herself attending to his wound. He was brought back to his senses when he heard her ask, "Hey, did you knock your head somewhere? Did you hear what I said just now? Are you dizzy? Why are you staring silly at me?"

Ru Ran was waving her hands in front of his face to get his attention. He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him and her back ended up leaning against his chest and he placed her on his lap. He then whispered in her ear," I panicked because you were really angry at me and I really did not want to lose you and I was desperate to get you to stop to listen to what I have to say and to beg for your forgiveness. When a person is in love they tend to do silly things. Did I ever tell you that every liitle move you make or the things you do is just so mesmerising that I can't take my eyes off you,"

Ru Ran could not help but felt her defence crumbling down. How can he easily break her wall? The wall that she had put up for the past 20 years. No one has ever been successful and yet this man, somehow magically does it smoothly. It is not that no one has ever approached her with words of love. Even though she is a loner but her looks at Tan Wu Yao was exceptional, she had a few admirers. They spoke of love and feelings but those words did not cause her to feel butterflies in her stomach and did not even left any impression. Of course one could argue that she is a woman and another woman's confession should not invoke any sort of feelings but in her case, most of the time she is too immerse in her character that in most instances or occasions, it was difficult to dissociate her personalities, hence it should have moved her heart regardless of the gender.

Shen Ji Yu lifted her off the ground, while singing, dancing and spinning her around. She found his actions hilarious, and he really should not sing, he could not carry a tune. Such a pity, such handsome face could not sing well. Oh well, no one is perfect. However, he sang full with confidence despite knowing he had jumbled up the lyrics and that he is tone deaf. She was already laughing while twirling following his dance lead. Just watching her happy expression made his heart soft and happy as well. If only things can last like this, but he knows the future is going to be tough for them especially for her with so many hidden enemies and the mysterious circumstances surrounding her parents death. However, he will stand by her side, hand in hand, face each challenges as it comes.

"Sorry if I jumbled up the words to the songs, somehow when I look at you, these words to the song just popped in my head and I feel I need to sing it out loud," he explained.

Ru Ran just placed her index finger on his lips as a signal for him not to apologise but to just enjoy the moment. She never felt so light hearted before. For once she did not think about revenge instead she was looking forward to a bright future with this man who is standing in front of her. Suddenly, she exclaimed loudly with her hand covering her mouth, she just remember about Uncle Tek.

"What is wrong? Are you hurt anywhere?"he asked anxiously.

" I just remember about Uncle Tek and is wondering if he is alright" she said in a concerned tone.

"My men just reported he is alright and they will bring him back to my place. Shall we go back and meet him?" he asked as he offered her his arm.

She stared helplessly at the broken bicycle, the bicycle suffered a huge damage when it crash into a huge stone boulder by the roadside. She shuddered at the thought of her head being cracked open and her brain splattering out if her head not the bicycle that had come in contact with the big rock.

He followed her line of sight and understood her concern. He then squeezed her hand lightly and said, " Love, let's take the car, its okay, we are riding together and I will hold onto you throughout and I promise you we will immediately stop the car whenever you feel uncomfortable,"

She looked up to the sky, it is already dark and with people roaming around in search for her, she should really listen to him and take the car but she really doesn't want to. Everytime, she gets on a car, she will suffer from panic anxiety attack.

She decided to follow him after some minutes of deliberation. "If you feel uncomfortable, let me know alright?" Ji Yu said once more to remind her.
