The system
"Good decision, the chosen one. But know that there is no going back from here. You will face obstacles that are more difficult to tackle than what you faced until now. Even if a day comes when your life or your loved ones life is in danger, you should not back down until you complete your ultimate task. Are you ready for it?" the voice asked still hiding in the dark.
"I'm ready for it. There's nothing much to loose in this world for me. I'm doing this because of my promise to my mother. Even if I die in the process so be it." Adam replied.
'And I want to know about those bastards and punish them.' he decided in his mind.
"But with my current abilities I can't even fight back bullies in my school. How will I be able to save the human race?" he asked. This question has been haunting his mind since the voice said that he was the chosen one and has to save the world. Adam knew his own strength which were not at all strong enough to fight other students let alone fight demons that want to destroy the human race and wipe them clean.
"The answer to your question is 'THE SYSTEM'" the voice answered.
"The system?" Adam was confused. Sure, he has read and seen about such things. In fact, it was one of his favourite plot. But to experience it in real life is totally different.
"Yes, the system. In your case it will be your redemption system. You need to develop your skills to its highest levels to fight the demon in the future." the voice said.
"Okay. Now where do I acquire this system from? Should I cultivate within myself?" Adam askes confused as to how this is going to work.
At that time slowly small golden particles started raise from nowhere. It looked like as if the walls and the floors of the room started emitting the golden particles. They started to move in one particular direction. That is, before Adam.
The particles started to coalesce in front of Adam to form a golden coloured cosmic ball. It looked like small ball but it had a huge density. Billions of particles fused together to form the small cosmic energy point.
"This is the system. It is only compatible to your body as you are the chosen one. First, you need to accept the energy that is contained within the system. Then once it has fused with your soul, both you and the system will be one. Neither can anyone take it from you nor you will be able to share it with anyone." the voice started explaining.
"Alright. I accept the energy to fuse with my soul." Adam answered with a voice filled with determination. He was also excited as to what will this system do to his body.
The energy core started moving towards his body. In particular, towards his heart. When the core was just few inches apart, Adam could feel the energy that's been radiated from the core. He could feel the heat from the core. It was quiet extreme. His body began to respond by sweating profusely. His heart rate accelerated to new speeds. He almost could hear his heart thumping in his chest. This gave him a new feel.
When the core came in contact with his body, he couldn't help but to scream.
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH"
But he stood rooted to his place as if to accept the core into his body. As the core made it's way inside his body, his scream became more and more louder and shriller. He threw his head back and screamed looking at the ceiling.
After the core entered his body completely, it started to spread to all his body through the arteries and returned back to his heart through the veins. His whole body started to emit a faint golden light. Then the golden core started to move towards his head.
When it reached his glabella it fused with his soul. This made Adam scream even louder as a throbbing pain was hammering his head. It was like billions of small needle poked him at the same time and same spot.
He couldn't take it any longer as he knelt down the ground holding his head with both his hands. His breathing was ragged as he gasped for air. Once the fusion had taken place, there was dead silence.
When Adam lifted his head up and opened his eyes, it had golden glow to it which covered 20% of the iris. The faint light in his eyes quickly vanished as his breath got steadier and his heart rate was returning back to the normal.
[ Congratulations THE CHOSEN ONE. You have successfully acquired the system.]
The same authoritative female voice said. But this time it was not from the room but inside Adam's head!
"So how does this system work?" he asked.
[The system consists of seven core elements. They are strength, intelligence, speed, reflex, will power, eros ability and morale. You have to master all these to become the ultimate cultivator to fight the demons in the future.] voice answered.
"I understand all the elements. But what does Eros ability mean?" he asked confused. He had a basic idea about strength, speed, reflex and other things.
[Eros ability deals with your sexual ability, It deals with your ability to pleasure your women and make them carry your progenies. It basically deals with your fertility.]
Adam was surprised. ' Will I need to develop in those things also? What a perverted system...' he thought. He naturally had a blush on his face.
"What else should I know about this system?" he asked the system.
[Each core elements has various essential skills that you have to master to master a core element itself.] voice started to explain
[You will get to know about these skills once you unlock them by doing the requirements needed to unlock them. For example you need to run 100 m to unlock the short distance sprint ability. You need to read books to increase the skills in intelligence.]
[Each skill have five levels. Beginner, novice, proficient, master and grandmaster. If you reach the grandmaster level in an essential skill, then ultimate points will be added to that particular core elements. So you have to reach grandmaster stage in all the essential skills to reach the status of ultimate cultivator.]
"How do I know that I'm progressing in a particular skill. Is there any grading system?" he asked.
[For progressing from one level to another, you have to gain skill points. For promotion from beginner to novice you need 10 skill points and then to proficient you need 100 skill points and then for mater you need 1000 skill points and to reach lower grandmaster level you need 10000; intermediate 50000 and finally epic stage you need 100000 skill points.]
"What? A 100000 skill points. How can I even reach there before I die?" Adam was shocked that how will he be able to gain such a huge amount of points in this lifetime.
[You don't need to worry about it. For each level you progress, the addition in skill points will increase. For example, in beginner to novice it increases by 1 SP; in novice to proficient it increases by 5 SP; proficient to master it increases by 50 SP; master to grandmaster increases by 500 SP]

"yeah. How does that morale thing works?"
[Morale skill is a double edged sword. If you use the system to hurt innocent people or cause any unwanted trouble to the human kind then you will be deducted points. If you reach the lowest limit of minus 21 then the system will leave your soul resulting in killing you. But on the other hand if you manage to reach the highest limit of plus 21 then you get massive advantage to reach the grandmaster level quickly.]
"What? Does this mean I can't kill people at all? Even if they did the evil deeds." he asked as he was afraid that he won't be able to punish the bastards who killed his mother.
[Chosen one, the system allows you to punish the evil doers. In fact, it will reward you for punishing them. The ultimate goal of the system is to protect humanity from any danger. This catch is only made so that you will not misuse the power.]
Adam remained silent as he took in all the information that the system has to provide. It was quiet simple. All he has to do was to do things overtime to reach the levels.
"What do I call you?" he asked as it was difficult to develop a bond with the system without a name.
[You can call me anything you want. I'm yours to command.]
"Okay then I will call you Adelaide. In short Adel." he said quickly coming with a name.

"What else...let's go and save the human race." he said with a newfound purpose in his life.
