Linden began packing calmly. Most of the belongings and furniture would be left behind, except for the bedding for tonight and the dishes. He also packed Luna's schoolwork and some pens. Linden quickly packed a bag and then took Luna out of the house.
Joey lifted Luna onto the motorcycle, placing her in the front, with Linden sitting behind him. Joey reminded, "Don't touch my tail, or we'll have to fight."
Linden, of course, wouldn't touch another wolf's tail; only mates did that.
He wondered how Seraphina was doing now. He checked the time; it wasn't her lunch break yet. Sometimes she would chat with friends and not call him, but he worried she might try to contact him.
Luna clearly liked the new apartment, but after the argument with her brother, she remained stubborn and pretended not to care. She also had to be polite to Joey and the landlord, making her expressions comically strained.
