SHAWNEY UNEXPECTED REACTION

Jeff whispers, "Since Torren return home, all they ever think about is Torren and Shawney, why has she come into his life?

I know Dad has something to do with that, I must find out?" Mingling around them getting closer to the family.

"Are you all enjoying yourself?" Jeff asks, as he stood next to Ken who was seated by the table.

Ken responded, "It's a lovely dinner Son, and yes we are enjoying ourselves."

"I don't suppose we have been properly introduced, I am Jeff Mac Carty, but how do you all know my Dad?"

"Son, we are Shawney relatives, when your Dad invited Robert, he extended the invite to us."

"Are you saying you and the Roberts are relatives?" Jeff tries to sound as if he was hearing this news for the first time.

"Yes Son, Paula is my sister and we all came for their anniversary service, but tomorrow we are all returning to Chicago."

"I hope you are not taking Shawney away with you?"

"No Son, my child will be staying with her Aunt for a few more days."

"I am glad to hear that, she has been helping my brother a lot."

"We heard that."

"Well it was nice meeting you Jeff, but we must be going."

"You don't have to leave so early?"

"Yes, we do son."

Shifting aside from Jeff when Julien asks, "Dad do we really have to leave now?"

Noticing the way Shantel was signaling Julien, "Yes, Shantel we do, Mitch anytime you all are ready, we are?"

"What is going on Uncle, it is still early?"

"Son, the host Son is trying to get something on my child, and I am afraid the others might say something to embarrass her."

Looking at his time, "Well Uncle, it is already eleven o clock, I suppose you are right, we have to work in the morning."

"Thanks, Buddy, I appreciate the way you understand my concerns."

"Look, go get the others and wait by the bus, I am going to get Mom, Dad, and Nellie then I will tell Shawney we will be leaving."

"Mitch, the last I saw Nellie she was with Train daughter-in-law," Joseph responds.

"Thanks, Joseph, let me get them."

"Son, Shawney told me earlier that she will be staying overnight."

"I hope you hear for yourself, she sleeps with any pretty face available?"

Train steps in front of her as his rage boils all over again. Reaching the point where he could not control himself.

Her lack of wisdom and remarks were overbearing. "Excuse me, Ma'am, I have tolerated enough of your ill-manners for one day, do you think I will encourage immorality under my roof?

Shawney is my house guest and is free to stay if she wishes. But from what I notice you have overstayed your welcome."

"I am very sorry Mr. Mac Carty for my wife misbehavior, I thank you for a lovely evening, and I am not worried.

I know you will take good care of my child. Once again I apologize for my wife's outburst." Noticing Shawney coming, "Come child, we are leaving now."

As Ken hugs her, "Uncle, it is still early, you could remain a bit longer?" Shawney tries to persuade her Uncle to stay a bit longer.

"I know love, but will I see you tomorrow before we leave?"

"Yes, Uncle I will come." Then Shawney hugs him again.

"Child, I am sorry for your Aunt misbehavior, how is the foot feeling now?"

"It will be just fine Uncle, you don't have to worry about me?"

"Then you take care of yourself."

"Thanks, Uncle, I will see you soon."

Joan glared at Shawney saying loud enough for the others that were standing around to hear.

"Shawney, you don't have to bother looking for us, you feel you are better than us, so stay with your lunatic friend, we don't care."

When everyone heard her shriek out and turn to look at her Aunt. It was only then they realized that Shawney had slapped her.

As they looked on seeing Joan's hand covering the left side of her face in shock. Ken has never seen Joan so speechless in all the years of their marriage.

With her eyes bulging out looking at Shawney in shock. The words she was going to say were ceased the very instant when Shawney said.

"I have warned you, but you tend to push me to the limit, I have tolerated your abuse but it is enough."

"Child, that is your elders?" Ken said still in shock from what Shawney just did, she had never answered Joan or misbehaved before, but Joan has really overdone it this time.

Hearing Shawney say, "Then I believe it is time she should start behaving as an elder?

I have tolerated all her misbehavior and humiliations she does to me? But I will not tolerate anything said about Torren?

I have warned everyone of them but they don't take me seriously? Uncle, I won't be seeing you off tomorrow, but I will see you soon and when I do, I don't want to see anyone in my house or my property."

"But Shawney, we didn't do anything?"

"I have had enough Sid, you didn't do anything again, I believe as Uncle said, all the time I took to educate you all, you could help yourselves now."

"But Shawney we have a family?" Meg replies.

"Sorry, I cannot help you all anymore, I was never good enough for any of you? So what I have isn't good either.

When Torren tries to hold her hand after her outburst, "Just leave me alone," as she brushes his hand aside and went to her room.

Train notices how Torren was looking at her, wondering what he must be thinking knowing he behaves the same way.

She must be blaming herself for hurting her family. But why did she became so angry to defend Torren, is she in love with him?

From what her Aunt did to her at Robert home she did not move a finger to defend her cause, but from the moment she ill speak Torren she reacted?

Looking at Torren seeing how he wiped the tears, he understands exactly what she is feeling.

Everyone stood still as he walks up the stairs then he stood at her door, raising his hand to knock on the door, but he didn't knock. He just walk to his room and close his door.
