My Plunderer System
In the year 2097, humanity faced a new terror. Cities were destroyed by horrible monsters that came through the dimensional doors. To counter this new terror, humans began to awaken magical abilities and dove into the gates to destroy the oncoming waves of beasts. One student in particular became orphaned due to one of these dimensional doors. He was considered one of the weakest, and was bullied due to his inability protect himself. While being beaten up in an alley one day, the area went into chaos as a dimensional door opened, trapping him and others inside. He was face to face with death when a sudden beam of light came down. "Is this how I die?" the student thought. Waking up in a hospital later, his wounds were healed as if they were never there in the first place, and a strange screen was appearing in his vision... "Welcome to the Plunderer System" Follow Milo Fenix as he uses the system to fight back against his enemies; his weak old self, the beasts, even humans. Will he achieve his goal of becoming the strongest? Will he be able to overcome his past self as someone who was weak? Will he be able to protect the ones he cares about? My Plunderer System Glossary I
Dimensional Door: Points where the dimensional fabric of the Earth gets shifted opening the world to the horrors of another dimension
Gate: One of the three types of dimensional doors, is a portal to another world and contains beasts and monsters that vary in strength. In order for the portal to be closed an Awakened Person needs to enter the portal and defeat the boss monster found at its end.
Rift: The second type of dimensional doors, when one forms, a barrier is formed in the Earth's dimensional fabric that prevents those who have not awakened from escaping the closed off area. Only those who have awakened can cross the barrier. Monsters will continuously spawn and the rift will only collapse once all the monsters have been dealt with
Dungeon: The third and final type of dimensional door, they are structures that are formed when dimensional energy is focused into one place, and can only be entered by those who have awakened and broken the blood seal at its entrance. They are filled with monsters, traps and puzzles, and are similar to labyrinths. Once the end is reached and the boss is defeated, a powerful treasure can be obtained
Awakened: Those who have awoken a mystical power following the appearance of dimensional doors. Those who have awoken powers usually use their abilities to fight back against the dimensional doors, but some choose to turn down dark paths as well.
Gatecrashers: Awakened people who use their abilities to fight back against the dimensional doors
Guild: A group of awakened people united under a single banner. When a gatecrasher gets awakened, the easiest way to find work is by joining a guild's strike force.
Plunderer System: A system awoken by Milo Fenix following a freak accident, the system allows him to see a game like screen, level up, and raise his stats. It also gave him the ability to copy the abilities of other ability users and use them as his own.
Navi: An A.I. assistant that helps Milo learn more about his system
The Acropolis: A city built on an artificial island created following the discovery of new technologies when the dimensional doors first started appearing
Dimensional energy: A new source of energy discovered following the appearance of dimensional doors. It is given off by dimensional doors, and when released into the atmosphere it helped to form the magisphere
The Magisphere: An array of dimensional energy spread throughout the Earth's atmosphere that is used as a source of energy all over the planet. It also is used to power the new technologies invented following the appearance of the dimensional doors.
Holo: A high tech watch like device that took over phones as the global communication device. It can also be used to do other things a smartphone would normally do, as well as check an awakened person's stats.
Awakened Academy: A school on the Acropolis that was built to nurture young awakened people. Those who awaken abilities at a young age are required to attend this school. The school follows a ranking system similar to what is used to measure gatecrashers.
Ranking System: Humans who awaken and become Gatecrashers are given a rank depending on their strength, the ranks increase starting at F, then E, D, C, B, A, and lastly X being the strongest
The Global Awakened Association(The GAA): The association in charge of ranking gatecrashers and punishing those who break the rules set by them. Their headquarters are located on the Acropolis.
The Fellowship - An evil group of awakened people that use their powers for evil. They commit evil acts all over the world and are wanted by the GAA for everything they have done. They are led by a man nicknamed the Godfather and his seven subordinates, the Seven Cardinals.
Enchanted Equipment: armor, weapons, and accessories created by mixing materials from earth with monster loot, such as their horns, teeth, or skin. They gain magic power and abilities when combined with Essence Cores contained within monsters.
Armor Quality: A series of rankings given to enchanted equipment based on how powerful they are. It can usually be estimated based on the essence core used to create the equipment. The rankings are as follows: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Unique, Heroic, Legendary, Mythic and lastly Celestial.
