“Yes, a lot. She's an energy pack.” A deep voice that definitely didn't belong to Fiona or Wesley responded. I looked up at him, blankly. What do I say now?
I chuckled instead, like the silly goose I was.
“She definitely is.”
The subject of our conversation went red in the face with embarrassment.
I rose my feet with Fiona's hand encased in mine. Wesley was no where to be found. Some brother he is. I flashed Blake a smile and walked towards the sitting room where voices were coming from. I didn't need to look back to know he was following closely behind. The essence of whipped cream was everywhere. It was really hard trying not to breathe in his scent. And it became really hard to ignore the tingling in my back. He was staring. Or maybe I was just paranoid.
