Blake's POV.
"Hey," a soft voice called me.
"Sup," I looked up from my laptop.
"Uhm, I know this is very random. But-" she wringed her hands after settling into my bed.
"What is it?" I gave her my full attention.
"Can you watch over Fiona, like for a month?"
"Huh, what are you talking about?" I squinted.
"You see," she hesitated like she was debating with herself, I waited for her to finish.
"Jake and I, are travelling out of the country on business and we need a trusted person to watch Fiona."
I stared blankly for a few minutes, my head refused to process whatever she was saying. Maybe because I haven't had coffee yet.
"Wait, for some reason I can't comprehend what you are driving at. I probably need a cup of coffee to remedy that. Hold on a sec." I raised a finger and hurried out of my dark room.
It was blinding outside. How do people live with light?
"Morning mum!" I hollered at the small figure of my mum cooking sausages.
