When he looked to the left, as many emotions covered his entire body, he saw the last standing elf fading slowly into the background.

"Wait- What is happening? Where are you going?", Shiro asked as he ran to stand in front of the elf.

The elf smiled as part of his body disappeared into thin air.

"It's time for me to go."

"What do you mean it's time for you to go?"

"Elves can only live up to 300 years. But, due to the divine power and promise I made with the Forest God, I lived up to 1000 years old."
