Shiro withdrew Enigma and Alion, both of whose weight was almost equal.

He didn't bring out Butcher as it would disrupt his combat stance. He had trained with the daggers for a long time, so, he instantly knew that he would perform his best if he were to wield these weapons.

Also, the extra effects provided by these weapons were the best!

Extra effects by Enigma: +1 Spd, +1 Str, +1 Def, +1 HP and +1 MP

Due to this, he would become faster and stronger.

Extra effect by Alion: +1 Spd.

With this, he became even faster.

The clown stood at the same place, smiling as Shiro drew the weapons.

Shiro closed his eyes for a second. He recalled that he had to stop his surprise attack because the clown was able to follow his movements despite his speed.

Just a mere 2-point increase in speed may not surprise the clown - thinking this, he decided on adding more points to the speed category.
