Kelvin shed a little tear in sorrow, “I’m happy for you and your son, I really am. But that too was taken from me, my wife was pregnant when she was murdered.” Kelvin said
Zarella slowly leaned in and opened her arms, hugging Kelvin. Despite her distrust of humans, she sincerely sympathized with him.
Of all things, she understood his pain of losing the person he loved.
"Okay, but I require a reading." Zarella demanded as she released him from her arms.
“A reading?” Kelvin asked, he looked at Zafira for answers.
“She wishes to peer into your future,” Zafira said.
“While your fate isn’t predetermined, angels have the ability to see all the possibilities. She wants to be sure her feather isn’t going to be used for some other malicious purpose. Angels have no trust at all, especially not in mortals.” she explained.
“When it comes to using one of my feathers for a demonic ritual, of course I have no trust.” Zarella frowned
