He pretended nothing happened.
They walked into the restaurant.
"I booked a table next to the window. We can see the sea from here. Do you like the view?"
Janet smiled, "Thank you. I like it very much."
Orville's eyes lit up again!
They sat down. The champagne and the starter were served.
"This fruity champagne is the most suitable pairing with the salty red silk fish. Try it!"
He picked up the fish and put it in front of her mouth.
Did he want to feed her?
Janet avoided it, "Let me try it."
She took it with her fork.
Orville put down his fork and started to talk about the auction.
"I liked the necklace a lot. Only you deserve to wear it."
"Really?"
She liked his compliment.
"But you don't need it. Any jewelry will look good on you."
He said, "Who would imagine a gentle beauty would take over the Longfellow Group in one day? Neat!"
