"I have nothing to talk to you about." Janet refused decisively. Looking at Nathaniel's indifferent expression, she added, "There is enough talk between us, right?"
Nathaniel still wanted to say something, but Janet didn't want to listen to him at all.
Nigel directly pulled Janet to stand up, revealing a proper smile to Nathaniel. Nigel said to Nathaniel, "Mr. Webster, Ms. Longfellow is my distinguished guest. She doesn't seem to want to talk to you. We'll leave first."
Nathaniel looked at Nigel coldly.
"This is between me and her. What does it have to do with you?"
Their gazes met and it seemed that they were going to explode at any moment.
"Can't you see that Jill doesn't want to talk to you at all? Let me remind you, Mr. Webster, you are Jill's ex-husband." Nigel raised his eyebrows and sneered.
"Nigel Wheeler!"
Nathaniel called out his name through gritted teeth.
