Chapter 182

We all stood and watched as Debra was evolving from a human to an Immortal.

A Pureblood Vampire.

She's going to be the third person to get the Valentine name but one thing puzzles me, It's been 1 hour now, her evolution is taking longer than it should. Silvia took 30 minutes and Kelly took the same amount. Maybe it has something to do with her power level.

"She's about to awaken," I announced.

Two large hands punctured the cocoon and steaming got liquid pure out. The hand was larger than a humans and had longer fingernails. Out of the cocoon a large female demon crawled out, with three red eyes, long red hair and the lower body was made of the tentacles of an octopus and six large bat wings on her back.

All of us was surprised,

"Mistress, this form is?" Kelly shuddered.

This is Debra's true form and the energy she was emanating indicates the power of a pureblood. I walked forward and looked up at the 30ft monstrosity and she looked back at me with all three eyes.

"Debra is that you" I asked in bafflement.

She leaned over and took me up in both hands and held me up close to her face. I didn't sense any hostility and so that's good, I don't want to beat her into submission

"Why are you so small? Did it work?" Debra asked as she was confused.

She's still the same quiet girl she is, and her voice and appearance is mature.

"Yes, You did congratulations," I expressed.

"I'm, I'm a Vampire," Debra said.

"Can you return to your original form?" I queried.

"Uhm…"

It seems she doesn't know how to.

"It's okay, I'll help you."

I touched her nose and she started to shrink back into a human form. Her hair is long red but her eyes were red and her skin is now white. Most importantly, my crest has appeared on her leg near her ankle.

"Yes I know you are, From now on your Debra Necrosis De Valentine. A pure blood Vampire of the Valentine Name and forever my bloodkin for eternity," I said as my butterfly surrounded her and created clothes for her. A black hooded robe, with open sleeves and boots all with gold lining.

"Does this mean?... I can stay by your side?"

Debra asked.

I nod.

"Thank you, So much."

She smiled happily for the first time, it stunned all of us. She got down on her knees and kissed my hand as a sign of loyalty.

"I can stay by your side forever," Debra expressed. and stood back on her feet. "Uhm, mistress? Should I call you that?"

"You can call me Roselina," I said.

Kelly walked up to her and gave a hug. "Welcome to the family, Sister," Kelly expressed.

"Glad ro be here."

After a touchy moment we sat in the living room. Debra's powers are now stable.

"There."

Kelly just finished braiding Debra's long hair and sat beside me. "So what kind of transformation was that?" Kelly asked.

"I don't know, Each person gains power based on their will, Debra's evolution is rather unique. In the future, we will know what kind of powers she possesses as a pureblood. Our forces have now increased," I took a sip of wine. "For now let's enjoy Christmas."

Later that night I stood in the garden in our yard where I was playing with the roses thinking over and over about what the humans are up to. Reviving mana is dangerous, the denser the mana the more poisonous it is for humans, thousands to millions could die from it or in the worst case scenario.

Mutate humans into monsters that can spread throughout the world and destroy the entire world. As much as I would want to say "I told you so" to these humans I can't let the world get destroyed.

And I can't do it alone, I need more power and all the help I can get but what the humans are doing is minor compared to who's coming. Lucifer, the king of hell and the ruler of Darkness and Death. I don't know how powerful he is but there's someone who does more than I do.

Right now is Christmas and I can deal with him afterwards.

"Roselina."

"Hmm?"

I turned my gaze to Debra who was standing me.

"Uhm, can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead, You can ask me anything."

I clip off the bad leaf off the rose.

"I'm now a pureblood Vampire, Does this mean I can't go back to being human?" Debra wondered.

"Why, Don't tell me you have regrets already?" I queried in an harried tone.

"It's not like that, It's just that I've always heard you say immortality isn't always a good thing, Do you have thoughts about being human?" Debra explained.

"I'm going to tell you a little story, you see I was once a human just like you who came from another earth," I confessed.

"Really?"

"Yes, I died in my world suffering from a Pneumonia at the age of 16 and got a chance to be reincarnated and so I chose to be a Vampire, so I can live a long life.. Up till now I don't have any regrets..10. I'm 628 years old and I've been sleeping most of my life."

I took up a rose and gave it to Debra.

"You were the only one who suffered but I had the power to change a person fate, I chose to save you "

I said then turned my back and looked up at the moon. "I'm now a True Vampire, an immortal being with an unchanging body, the truth is I have the power to turn you guys back into humans whenever you wish it but I must stay the way I am for all eternity. I can't die if I wanted to and I can't become human even if I wanted to…I must forever remain immortal," I said.

Debra gave me an unexpected kiss that caught me off guard. She backed off away from me again.

"Then I'll stay by your side forever," Debra reassured.

I held my lip and looked at her. "Good girl," I pat her on the head.

Christmas is here and we all decided to stop by the orphanage to deliver some gifts to the cool children. They called and told me that Amy is going crazy saying she wants to see me.

"I'm interested in seeing this little girl," Kelly said.

"Well you're in for a surprise."

The car parked at the entrance and I got out.

"This place is—"

Kelly looked around as she sensed someone coming.

"Mommy," Amy called as she ran up and gave me a hug while crying.

"Mommy!??

Diane and Kelly were surprised when she hugged me.

"I missed you mommy, why didn't you come to see me?"

Amy asks for her adorable puppy dog eyes.

So cute.

"Mistress, Is this girl your daughter?" Kelly asked.

"She's.. uhm."

I was very nervous as I felt her intense gaze set on me. "This is Amy, a girl who lives at the orphanage, she took a liking to me and now calls me her mother," I said.

"Oh, it's that so?"

"Mommy, there is a monkey."

Any point at Diane.

"Wah, do I look like a monkey?" Diane shouted.

"No you silly, the red one."

We were all surprised because it is impossible to see with naked eyes, unless this girl has the ability to see spirits or something.

I've found someone rare.

"Let's go in," I said.

And so we donated toys and other gifts to everyone who lives in the orphanage, including the staff. Having fun together is one thing but leaving is another. This little girl called Amy is a handful, I hope I don't get too attached to her.

After that we dropped by Regina's house.

"Oh it's you!"

Regina seems to be upset with me.

"Is something the matter?" I asked.

"I'm not talking to you hmph!"

"Well if you're not talking to me then I'll leave," I said as I turned and walked away.

"Are you leaving?" Regina asked.

"Are you angry with me?"

"Of course I am, I'm your best friend and you didn't even come visit me even once."

"I apologise, I've been busy that's all...I have taken."

"I forgive you."

She took the bait.

"Let's go."

We all walked into the living room.
