Chapter 140

We traveled to a mountain in the Pennines. A place in the united kingdom, Far north of London. 

" It was here mistress "

Kelly said. 

She pointed at a cliff and I walked over to it and looked down, there was a river at the bottom of the cliff. 

" Mistress, what are you hoping to find here? "

Kelly asked. 

I didn't answer because I was busy activating my divine eye and trying to see how far into the past I can see. I looked around until I found some buried on the the dirt. 

It was an old rusty piece of metal. 

" What is that? "

Diane asks. 

" It's a broken piece of the sword I gave to Ivy "

I said. 

" Come on let this work "

I cut my finger with the broken blade and licked the blood off my finger.I could see it all before my eyes. After Kelly fell off the cliff Silvia fought to escape,she was about to receive a lethal blow when Ivy moved in to protect her. 

After was captured I could see that she was being tortured and subjected to an experiment by Carnage. All I could see was an evil smile and glasses. After that my vision returned to normal, I returned to the present. 

" Mistress, did you find anything ?"

Kelly asked. 

I got angry, irritated and furious. I took up a stone and threw it at the sky with all my strength.

The stone flew towards the sky and a few seconds later the sky burst open instantly. No clouds were pressing within a 3 mile radius. 

" No way "

Diane looked up at the sky with her jaws wide open. Roselina physical strength overwhelmed her to the point of being speechless 

" Those carnage, They are responsible for this.. "

Roselina clenches her fist till it bleed. 

" I'll kill them all, I'll whip them off the face of the planet "

Roselina was about to break her choker when a hand prevented her from doing so. 

" Kelly, let me go "

Roselina said. 

Suddenly Roselina stopped moving and started to sway until she fall into Kelly's arms. 

" I'm sorry mistress, this is for your own good, you can scold me later "

Kelly said as she was holding an injection needle in her hands. 

" What's that? "

Diane asked as she looked at the green liquid inside the tube of the needle. 

"It's a tranquilizer with the Lethal dosage of 50 black scorpion stings and a few other lethal toxins  "

" What ? won't that kill her? "

" Master has a resistance to poison, a dose this powerful will only put her to sleep temporarily "

Kelly took up Roselina in her arms 

" Let's go back home "

Soon they all returned home. 

Kelly shifted Roselina's hair that was hanging in her face. Everyone was beside her bed watching Roselina as she sleep soundly. 

" When will she wake up? "

Lufilia asked. 

" Who knows, her resistance level Is higher than mine so she'll probably wake up in 1 day or 2 "

Kelly said. 

" This is the best that I can do, "

She added.

In the meantime 

Roselina was inside her subconscious world again. She kept walking on the sea of blood. 

" I'm inside this place again, just what Kelly did.. Huh ?"

Roselina started to get angry.

" Those Carnages, what till I wake up...I'll... I'll "

" You'll do what "

Roselina turned around to another Roselina standing behind her. 

" Who are you ?"

" Who am I? "

The clone punched Roselina in her face. 

" You possess immense wisdom and you still can't figure who am I "

The Doppleganger said. 

" I'm your inner self "

" Really, if your the good me where the evil one ? "

" There is no other version of you, I'm just your subconscious mind taking form, so I'm like your Doppleganger inside your mind "

The Doppleganger grabbed Roselina around her neck and started strangling her. 

" What were you going to do, destroy all carnage ? "

She asked. 

Roselina broke free of the grip and gave some distance between them. She took out her scythe and her Doppleganger did the same. 

" Of course, those Carnages took everything from me.. I must destroy them "

Roselina spoke as she and her par eachother blows. Each scythe clashed against each other leave sparks and trails of red lines. 

" It's true that they took Silvia and Ivy from you but have you thought about the consequences if you do... "

" Who cares about consequences, why should I care? "

" Because Silvia and Ivy are alive ? "

" What  "

Roselina hesitate for a moment that gave the Doppelganger enough time to hold the scythe at Roselina neck. 

" They're alive and you know it, you're just afraid to admit that they are "

" Why would I be afraid ?"

Roselina asks, her Doppleganger was silent for a while. 

" It's because you're afraid you won't be able to face them after finding them "

Hearing that Roselina was dumbfounded. 

" You and I are the same, so I know you.. You're planning to wipe out the Carnages to appease your own frustration and failure.. Well have you though what might happen if you did "

The Doppelganger said. She then showed how Roselina started to go around destroying everything in the name of revenge. Humans were running and screaming, it was a global war against Roselina. 

" The future they worked so hard to build for you will be destroyed, everything they've done will be meaningless.your future will be over "

Roselina then dropped her scythe on the ground. 

" Then what am I supposed to do? "

She asked. 

The Doppelganger walked up to Roselina and hold her face. 

" Abandon your wrath, be patient for your servants, one day Silvia and Ivy will return "

She touches Roselina on her chest. 

" You can feel them, they're out there waiting for you.. You just need to have faith in them and yourself "

The Doppelganger vanished into thin air.

Monday morning came.

Kelly and the others sat patiently waiting for roselina to wake up. The door opened and Roselina walked down the stairs in her uniform.

" Mistress "

Kelly stood up to greet Roselina.

" Are you alright? "

She asked. 

" I'm fine now, there is no need to worry "

Roselina said with a smile. Kelly looked at Roselina and smiled. 

" That's a relief "

" I'm heading off to school now "

Roselina turned around and Debra was standing in front of her. 

" Let's go to school "

Roselina said with a smile.

We soon arrived at school but for some reason the press was at the gate of the school. Cameras keep flashing our cars. 

" What's going on? "

I ask. 

We soon arrived in the parking lot and we got out of the car. As we walked into school for some reason the students there seemed to be fawning over me more than before. 

" She's not only beautiful, but she's rich and comes from the 3rd most prestigious family in england "

" if I had known I wouldn't made fun of her "

Is it because they found out I'm a member of the Valentine Family ?

" Hey Roselina wait up "

Regina shouted as she ran up to me and I turned to greet her as she was in a hurry. 

" Wow I didn't think you would become more popular "

Regina said. 

" That doesn't interested me in the slightest "

I said.

We arrived in class and as I took a seat  four boys came around me. Handing me flowers, Jewelry and other accessories just to win my attention. They started to flaunt their looks and flash smiled to win me over. 

" Could you guys buzz off and leave me alone your obstructing view "

I said.

" Didn't you hear what she said "

" Your obstructing her view "

They started to fight in front of me, this is why I didn't want people finding out who I am. 

Suddenly the two twins came into class. They looked at me and then took their seats. Class was over and I walked towards the principal office. As I walked I turned to look at all the people following me. They look like a bunch of geeks, carrying banner with my fan of it. 

" Who are you? "

I ask. 

" Waaaah did she talk to us? "

" I could die happy now "

They started to feel excited. 

" Just answer my question "

I ask. 

They all stand at attention. 

" We are the Roselina Valentine Fan Club "

Say what now !?

" We are your loyal and faithful fans "

The one leading them is a guy with glasses. If I don't get rid of them now it will be problematic later. I clasped my hand and took on my most cute face. 

" You did this all for me, how could I repay you for it ? "

Suddenly all of them were shot by cupid arrows. 

" She's so adorable "

They all fall to the ground with heart shaped pupils. I smiled and walked away. 

" Your cuteness knocked them all out "

Regina said. 

" They're just a bunch of idiots that will fall for any pretty face"

After reaching the principal's office I took a seat in the chair with Debra by my side. Mr Glachman who just got off the phone. 

" That was the press, they want to get a chance to interview you miss Roselina "

He said. 

" * Sigh * I'll ask Kelly to take care of them. If she didn't come to my school this would never have happened "

I sigh and take a sip of tea. 

" It's best if you assigned yourself security "

Mr Glachman suggested. 

The door opened and the two twins came in.

" Can I help you girls? "

He asked. 

" We need to talk to roselina "

Mio said, I looked at her then turned my gaze to the principal. I looked him in the eyes and instantly he fell unconscious.

I put my tea cup down. 

" What are you here for ?to kill me ?bring me in ? get revenge for killing your mother ? "

I asked as I stood up and looked at them. Surprisingly, they didn't take action against me, instead they kneel before me. 

" I Tio Roosevelt "

" I Tia Roosevelt "

"" We swear our undying fealty unto you Roselina Lambrosa De Valentine "

" What ? "

I was surprised by their actions. 

" What's the meaning of this? "

I ask 

" After finding out the truth behind our mother "

" We decided to search for our birth mother "

" Now we're all alone no one to turn to but each other, we were sorry to have abandon our birth mother "

" We decided to serve someone who has equal significance "

They both looked up at me. 

" Lady Roselina, your blood flows through our veins. It has saves us more times that we could ever imagine "

" We're sorry for the way we have treated you and we're sorry for sharing you and trying to ruin your reputation and most of all "

"" We're sorry for what has happened to your subordinates, let us make amends by repaying you with or lives and loyalty ""

They said in unison 

Looking at them both I couldn't help but feel sorry for them.

" To be honest looking at you both really pissed me off to know that my blood is inside human "

I said. 

" But I can't blame you since you didn't do it on purpose.. Fine, I'll allow it but beware my trust is limited so I'll give you mine just this once "

I said.

They reassure me in unison.
