Bokuto's POV
Because of the school being closed for 2 days, I decided to do the research paper for biology at Hoshi's house with Saki instead. We will be there all day long while Mariya is at work. There we are in Hoshi's room working on the crucial and important facts related to our decided topic and organizing them into stacks of paper flashcards. Saki was reading the textbooks, while Hoshi wrote the facts in flashcards. I then organized them. After that, I said to them, "Okay, let's write the first paragraph for the introduction."
They agreed, and we worked on it.
The paragraph was well-detailed and such and such.
We worked on the words and edited and proofread it ourselves.
After that, we then worked on the other paragraphs explaining the topic in detail, putting the important facts into an order of importance spread across 5 paragraphs. It was long, tedious, and involved a lot of editing and new, fresh pieces of paper, but by 11:34 a.m., we finished the first draft of it with a detailed conclusion.
"Finally!"
"Finished!"
"Yay, we did it!"
"Good job, guys," I said to them brightly. "Let's take a break."
"Finally, I'm going to make lunch for ourselves." Hoshi stood up and left the room. "I'll be making potato and chicken stew for lunch."
We then heard his footsteps going down the stairs.
"Okay," Saki replied.
"No problem," I added.
Later, Saki and I went downstairs, only to smell something delicious coming from the kitchen. When we went there, we saw our friend stirring something in a pot.
"Is that potato and chicken stew?" Saki asked him.
Hoshi then looked at us. "Oh, hey guys. Yes, this is it."
He then glanced back at his cooking. "Just prepare the table. This one is almost ready."
Saki and I did so.
"Also, the rice is now ready."
I get a bowl and a big spoon to get some of the hot, steamed rice, before serving it on the table.
Saki sat down after setting the plates and chopsticks.
Shortly thereafter, our friend was done cooking and served the delicious, hot stew to us. "Here you go."
He and I sat down.
The three of us then made a prayer gesture. "Thanks for the food."
We then get some of the steamed rice and the potato and chicken stew and put them into our plates.
We tasted them, and…it tasted so delicious.
"So delicious!"
"The flavor is so good," Saki added.
"What do you think?" Hoshi asked us brightly.
Saki then looked at him. "It's so good. You're a good cook."
"Thanks!"
"Your cooking is delicious as always," I said to him.
"Thanks, Bokuto-kun."
We resumed eating.
After that, Saki washes the dishes while Hoshi wipes the table. I, on the other hand, organized and compiled all of the flashcards into a plastic box, before organizing the first draft of our biology research paper in the correct order. I then put page numbers in each of the pages in order as well. We worked on it way earlier than we thought. This gives us a ton of time for other things.
