You're the One I Need.

You slowly opened your eyes, the bright sun coming through your blinds. You sat up and went outside, stretching. "That dream was pretty nice, too bad it wasn't re-" "Good morning Y/n." Your eyes open up widely to look at Doc who was standing in front of you. "Oh my god, you- you exist! You're real! You're a living breathing human being!" You just couldn't believe it, he was here and not just some dream you had or lines of code. "Of course I'm real, are you feeling alright Y/n?" Doc asks. "I'm alright I'm just kind of getting used to having you here." You chuckle sheepishly. Doc pats your head and smiles. "Do you want breakfast Doc?" You ask. Doc nods and you smile walking to the kitchen. You decide to make eggs and bacon. "Hey, Doc do you like coffee?" You ask. "Coffee?" He replies. "Yeah, coffee do you like it?" You ask again. "I've never had coffee before." Doc walks over to you. "Never?! Wow, that's surprising." You pour the coffee grounds into the filter. "Does coffee taste good?" He asked. "It depends on the person, the type of coffee, the amount of sugar, and some other shit like sweeteners. God, I hate people who use sweeteners in their coffee just put fucking sugar in your damn coffee like the rest of us you fucking weirdos." You were just talking to yourself at the end. "Such vulgar language." Doc shakes his head disapprovingly. "You sound like my dad." You laugh. Doc chuckles. You cracked some eggs and mixed them with pepper, salt, and a bit of milk. Doc decided to sit down in a chair and watch you cook. Eventually, you forgot he was even watching you, you went into your own world like you normally did and started singing and dancing as you cooked, you couldn't have a care in the world that is until you heard Doc singing along with you. You turned to him, you were blushing heavily. "You have a lovely singing voice Y/n." Doc stands up and walks over to you. "O-oh, th-thank you." Your body felt so hot you knew Doc had to feel the warmth radiating off of you, god why'd you have to get so turned on by him?! "You're looking quite...flustered Y/n is something bothering you?" Doc tilted his head slightly. "N-no I'm alright." You look away from him. You remember you were cooking and freak out. You quickly turn back around take the eggs off the stove and put them on plates then you, like the clumsy dumbass you were you grabbed the bacon with your hand and of course burned yourself. "Ow!" You hissed in pain grabbing your burned hand with your unharmed one, you stumbled backward and into Doc who caught you, he held you close gently stroking your head as tears streamed down your face. "Do not cry my dear it will be alright, like a storm your pain will become nothing but a distant memory." His voice was more soothing than usual. You inhaled and shakily exhaled, then you nuzzled yourself deeper into Doc's kind embrace. Doc picked you up and carried you to your room, he set you down on your bed, his yellow eyes studying your small trembling form. He sat beside you and pulled you into his lap, one arm around your waist the other under your legs so he could cradle you almost like a baby. You nuzzled your face into his shoulder as you felt more tears threatening to spill out from your eyes. You gripped his cloak and began sobbing uncontrollably. You weren't crying because you had burned yourself honestly you had no idea why you were crying. You cried for a good 20 minutes before you finally calmed down. "Y/n?" Doc looked down at you. You had a soft smile on your face but your eyes were closed. You had fallen asleep. Doc smiled and tucked you into your bed, gently moving a stray strand of your H/c hair behind your ear. "Dormez Bien, ma chère. French, sleep well my dear."
