Prologue

On an average evening day when the sun slowly sets, there is a man streaming his gameplay with a few people online. It seems like they are having fun with all the laughter and jokes they make.

"I'm not even joking. She really said that! A female voice can be heard loudly and clearly in the speaker that is placed on the table.

"HAHAHAHAAH!!! How can she say that out loud?!" Another girl laughing.

"Waaa~~ Guys, please stooppp!" The soft voice girl whimpered with the sound of feet stomping on the floor can be heard, begging her friends to stop.

"Ok enough, guys. I think she might start crying again if you guys won't stop. I can imagine her crying face, right now." A cool voice woman said.

"N-No, I'm not~. A-and what do you mean by that?" Sobbing.

"Girl, we all know how your face is when you are crying and it's clearly something we never see before."

Seeing the scene, a woman with a motherly tone talks to him. "Kai, don't you think it is time to step in and stop them from keep teasing her? "

"Hm, nah I think it's okay. They're having fun." He answered with a smile on his face.

"Kaaaai, you made a promise, remember? So, keep your promises and stop them."

He feels terrified by her angry glance, his body is shivering with coldness, and immediately agrees. "Ok, ok. I'll stop them. And, please don't be mad, I buy you a new knife set, ok?"

"Yeay, Ok kay~!"

" *Thank god* Ok, girls. Stop bullying Hanako. We're here to rank up together, remember? Especially her since she just played this game a week ago. Not like us who play for three months straight. So, please stop and apologize."

"Oooh, looks like your knight in shining armor has come to rescue you, Hanako-chan~~."

"Yeaah~ your dream has come true, twice. It must be great right~?"

These two girls continue teasing her for a few minutes before apologizing.

They start playing the game. The game name Pacific Battle is a quite popular game that was released a few years ago. It become popular after a huge update and a famous streamer named 'Johnfearnothing' played it on his stream. Since then, a million people start to download it and make gameplay playing it. They are not exceptional, too.

After six hours of gameplay, they decide to stop and continue tomorrow.

"Girls, it's time to sleep. We'll continue tomorrow at the same time as today and Hilda, tomorrow morning, do not forget."

"Yeah, yeah, I know. You don't need to remind me every single time. I can take care of myself." It feels like she puffs her breast forward with a proud face showing. Really, this girl. He thoughts to himself, making sure that it does not come out of his mouth as he knew the consequences of doing it.

"Good night, Kai. Love u~Bye. Oh, and goodnight everyone."

"G-good night. I-I hope we can play together again."

"Ara ara~ Good night and sleep well, okay everyone?"

"Whaaat? It's still early. We can play other games like Sharpshooter, Walking In The Darknight, and... Uhhh, I don't know. K bye. Goodnight."

"Yeah, it's middle night and I still have some business to deal with tomorrow. Goodnight."

"Goodnight and sleep well, girls."

After wishing them goodnight, he turns off his computer and walks toward his bed, lays on it, and sleeps right away. He must be exhausted to deal with his girls every day. His eyes are slowly closing and a darker place slowly takes over his vision. A sweet dream come to him. A dream that shows him a happy life with people he loved, waiting for him with an open arm. People that accept him. People that protect him. People... that love him. But, he knows. He knows that this is just a dream. Even if he wants to go to people that have been waiting for him on the other side, his body won't allow him. He can't move his body. Every single part of his body won't move, as if something is holding him. Something that he doesn't want to remember. Something that he keeps away from everyone.

But, what is it? What is it that makes him can't move? What is it that makes him keep it in the deepest space of nothingness?

"Ahh!" He awakes and his body is sweaty. He is in his room with the light on and the AC is on, too. His room's shape is a rectangle. There is a cabinet that fills with figurines from anime and video games. Next to it, there is a smart white desk with high specs CPU with a black case, two 32", 2K, and 144Hz monitors, a high-quality mechanical keyboard from Encore, a wireless gaming mouse from Techno, a microphone, black colored headphones with a bit of red from brand Colombus, and Luca a700 DSLR camera. On the walls, there is some poster with a character from video games like Jessica from Unalive and Lucas from Street Battles. Finally, opposite the desk, there is a 65" Smart TV placed on a black cabinet. Next to the TV, there is GameHub 5 limited edition console with two controllers. Overall, this is what people call 'Heaven for gamers'.

His sister, Erika, is sitting next to him and is also the one who wakes him up. "Wake up, bro. I'm hungry~." Said her while holding her stomach.

"Hm? Oh, okay okay. What do you want for breakfast?" He asks her while getting up from the bed and walking to the kitchen.

"Omellete! I want Omelette!"

"Omelette? We just ate it yesterday."

"I don't care. I want Omelette!"

"Ookay, can you quiet for a little bit? My head is still hurt from yesterday." Asks him.

"That's your fault, bro. Who told you to stream for 12 hours straight? Onii-chan no Baka! Hmph!"

"I... no comment."

"Thought so."

They walk to the kitchen. He wears an apron and is ready to make breakfast for his little sister while she prepared the table and cleans the living room. There are just two of them in the house since their parents died in an accident two years ago evolving two trucks collided with each other and a few cars felt the impact. The report said that about 10 people died and five were injured in the accident and their parents are one of them. They were in the house when that happen. They receive the news from their uncle an hour after that and Erika burst out crying while hugging him. He just kept silent, trying to accept the news even though an eyedrop almost come out. Since then, he become a streamer to support their life.
