Chapter 17_ Locked up 2
Amelia held her tummy, she made a vow to make Liam pay for keeping her Starving this way.
Just when life was about to leave her, she saw a chocolate bar being pushed into the room.
She looked up to see who it was, it was that guard who smiled at her earlier.
Amelia stood up and picked the bar of chocolate, she wanted to thank him but she saw him placing his index finger on his lips.
She took that as a cue, that means Liam planned to starve her because of some stupid furniture which she changed.
She tore open the chocolate wrapper and started munching on it, in the next few seconds she finished it all.
She saw the guard stretch his hand into the room again, her brows furrowed.
There was nothing with her, what could he possibly want?
It suddenly dawned on her, Amelia sneakily placed the empty wrapper on his palm to avoid being seen by the other guard.
Liam came out of the secret compartment and headed out of the door, he met his butler standing by the door with his head bowed.
"young master, young miss didn't have anything for lunch today and it's almost dinner time".
The butler bowed his head but heard nothing he looked up to find only him in the hallway.
It seems his master wasn't ready to forgive Amelia yet.
Liam headed to the room where he locked up Amelia, his guards where on standby guarding the room from all angles.
When they saw him approaching they bowed as a sign of respect.
He peeped through the bars to see what Amelia was up to, Amelia felt a piercing gaze on her.
She met his eyes that were mocking her, she didn't want him to have the final laugh.
Liam's blood boiled when he saw how happy she was, she was smiling and also waving at him.
Amelia saw the anger that flashed past those grey orbs of his and further widened her grin. "did you miss me that much? don't worry I don't want to leave here anytime soon I'm happy In here at least there is no arrogant Liam in here".
Liam's face darkened further as he stormed out of the place, he was upset that she wasn't begging to be released like every normal people does instead she was happy.
Amelia's smile turned upside down when he left "jerk" she mumbled.
The guard who gave a bar of chocolate shook his head at her. his miss was just something else but he must say she really fits that arrogant boss of his.
The next morning............
Liam was having breakfast when his butler walked to him. "young master, miss has requested your presence" the butler bowed.
Liam's face brightened up, it seems she has finally come to her senses to beg.
After he was done having breakfast, he went to the room where he had locked up Amelia.
He knocked on the gate with a smirk waiting to hear an apology.
Amelia arched a brow as to why he was smiling, she blew air on her fingers.
"I asked your guards to let me out so I can ease myself but he said I should ask for your permission, so?" she blinked severally at him.
His grip on the iron bars tightened, she called him here for this?.
"If you really want to hiss yourself you can just do it right there!" he mumbled and was about to leave.
"wait! there is something else" Amelia called out, Liam's smirk returned back to his handsome face.
Amelia went closer to the bars and wiped her whole palm on his white shirt.
Liam looked down at his shirt in shock before facing her again he tried to grab her but she went back smiling mischievously.
"if you really want to teach me a lesson then you have to come in here for that!" she said turning her back to him.
Earlier she had wiped her palms on the dusty floor just to get back at him.
She turned back to face him but he was long gone.
"just how am I supposed to pee?" she screamed at the guards.
Nicholas waited patiently for his brother to arrive in his office, he needed to speak things out with him.
The door opened as Liam stepped in with his assistant who was tailing after him.
Nicholas face darkened seeing his step brother, Liam walked past him like he was not there at all to his seat and rang the intercom.
"you all are fired" he simply stated and sat down completely ignoring his step brother.
"Liam what you did to me was very wrong!" Nicholas started and banged his hand on the table.
"I almost died in the study if it wasn't for Chloe who found me!".
Liam acted as if no one was present in the room with him.
"Liam I'm talking to you?" Nicholas yelled as his hands swiped off everything on Liam's table.
Liam met his brother's gaze "I'll only count to three if you are not out by then, you will be sorry for yourself".
Right now he was mad, it seems Amelia and Nicholas has been created just to make his life a living hell.
"none of that shit works on me again! you've declared war Liam, up until now I have tried to be a good brother to you, but your ego is just too big for you to....." Nicholas was rendered speechless after he was punched by Liam.
It seems as if the punch brought him back to his senses "did your mother ask you to act tough?" Liam scoffed.
"too bad you can never be a man again" Liam mocked.
He watched his brother change to different shades of red before leaving his office.
He has been having a bad day since today, and it started from Amelia.
Liam massaged his neck, he was starting to regret ever signing a contract with Amelia.
That girl has been driving him insane since they got married.
