Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)

I do not own "Black Clover", it belongs to its original creator Yuki Tabata. Nor do I own "Descendants", that belongs to Disney. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release. Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.

Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website.

If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me.

Today's Special

Anyone can have a child and call themselves "a parent".

A real parent is someone who puts that child above their own selfish needs and wants.

{Mal P.O.V.}

"Oh! There's news!" My mother exclaimed. I looked at her, waiting for her to continue. "I buried the lede." she laughs. Maleficent points towards her daughter, and her associates children. "Your four have been chosen to go to a different school… in Auradon."

I feel my eyes widen in surprise. Who the hell would be idiotic enough to allow a bunch of the deadliest villains children, to attend their school.

The only ones who would have enough power to do this, would be the royal family. But the beast, nor his precious beauty, are dumb enough to do that. That just leaves their son.

But it wasn't entirely the princes idea, because somewhere in the mansion, in one of its many guest bedrooms, a certain captain had sneezed out of the blue.

Well everyone else rejoiced, a plan formed in my head. One that I couldn't let my mother find out about.

So I did the exact opposite, not letting her catch onto my true feelings.

So I shook my head and held up my hand. "I'm not going to go to some boarding school filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses." I told her.

"And perfect princess." Evie spoke up, delighted.

"Ugh!" I groaned honestly. I loved Evie to death, she was like a sister to me. But God, I can't stand her sometimes. I really need her to start looking at the bigger picture.

"Yeah, and I don't do uniforms." Jay added. "Unless it's leather. You feel me?" He asked, pointing a finger at the mother-daughter pair, who were only wearing leather.

Carlos had some concerns of his as well, "I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon." He said, getting up right behind me. I didn't need to see his face to know there was fear in his eyes. Damn, I hated how that woman had literally forced that fear onto him. "Mom said they're rabid pack animals who eat boys who don't behave."

"Woof!" Jay screamed into Carlos' ear, startling him.

Well, at least they gave me a chance to sell my act even further, "Yeah, mom, we're not going."

"Oh, you're thinking small, Pumpkin." No. No mother. I'm thinking way bigger, and way further than your little goals. If i'm going to win this little game. Then I'm going to need to always be at least three steps ahead of you.

I watched, as my mother began to paint her bigger picture to me, "It's all about world domination." She licked her lips, and called her goons forward, "Knuckleheads." She then turned over her shoulder, and called, "Mal…" beckoning for me to follow her.

Once we were all in her layer and began to give us her orders. "Your will go. You will find the Fairy Godmother and you will bring me back her magic wand. Easy peasy." She commanded, filing her nails in her big chair.

"What's in it for us?" I questioned. I know she wouldn't give me anything. The second she'd have the wand, she'd toss us aside. Don't worry mother, I will get the magic wand. But not for you, but for us. It will be our reward.

"Matching thrones. Hers-and-hers crowns." It took everything in my to stop myself from scoffing in her face.

"Um, I- I think she meant us." Carlos stutters out.

My mother gets up, and beckons me forward with her finger. "It's all about you and me, Baby. Do you enjoy watching innocent people suffer?" She asks. No. I do not. But there was no way I could tell her that. Punishing people who wronged you, and getting revenge is one thing. What kind of person would enjoy tormenting others, who are in most cases; weaker than them. Oh, yeah. My mother. That's who. "Then get me the wand!" She snaps at me, before I can answer. She then lowers her voice, "And you and I can see all that and so much more. And with that wand and my sceptre, I will be able to bend both good and evil to my will!"

"Our will." The evil queen interjects.

"Our will, our will." My mother repeats.

Really?

Do these morons really think they'll be able to convince us to help them by just talking about their benefits?

My mother snaps her finger, bringing my attention back to her, "and if you refuse, you're grounded for the rest of your life, Missy." She winks.

Oh please, as if this island isn't already basically a grounding. But still I pretend to protest, but what I wasn't expecting was for her to bring out her magic. Her eyes began to burn a bright green, as did mine. Her magic slowly suppressing mine.

I honestly tried to resist, but still couldn't. I grumbled out loud for once, as I submitted. God, I really needed to find a way around that.

"Fine. Whatever."

"I win!" My mother began to gloat like a child.

"Evie." The Evil Queen called, "My Little Evil-ette in training." My best friend skipped over to her mother, looking for the slightest hint of approval. I really needed to break that habit. Not just for her, but for Carlos and Jay as well. "You just find yourself a prince with a big castle and a mother-in-law wong."

"And lots and lots of mirrors!" The two finished together.

I rolled my eyes, what great advice to give your young, teenage girl. Little did I know, Evie actually would do that.

I narrowed my eyes as Evie's mother stopped her bell like laughter, because of 'wrinkles'.

"Well they

'Re not taking my Carlos." Cruella protests. "Because I'd miss him too much."

"Really, mom?" Carlos asks hopefully.

"Yes. Who would touch up my roots. Fluff my fur, and scrub the bunions of my feet."

"Yeah, maybe, a new school wouldn't be the worst thing." Carlos says, dully.

"Oh, Carlos. They have dogs in Auradon." Cruella says. Her attack works perfectly, because once again the boy is protesting.

I slam my face into the palm of my hand. This is going to take a lot of work.

"Well, Kay isn't going either." Jafar nods, "I need him to stock the shelves in my store."

I stare as his father pulls Jay aside and begins asking about all he had stolen. Of course when he said 'stock my shelves', what he had really meant was, 'I need him to steal all my products for me'.

"Evie's not going anywhere until we get rid of this unibrow, hmm." The Evil Queen adds.

I grow my eyebrows, I walk up beside the blue hair girl and wrap and arm around her. "Hey, some day you'll meet a man who will realize you are perfect just the way you are. And he will love for your unibrow and all. Understood." She nods, little did I know, l prediction was right. My bestie did meet a man who loved her for who she was. And he treated her like the queen she was.

"What is wrong with you all?" My mother cried out. She walked down the stairs and joined the group. "People used to cower at the mention of pur names!" She slammed her hand down onto the table, "For 23 years, I have searched for a way off this island. For 23 years, They have robbed us from our revenge- revenge on Snow White and her horrible little men."

"Ow!" The Evil Queen nodded.

My mother then turns to Jafar, "Revenge kn Aladdin and his bloated Genie!"

"I will-"

"Revenge on every sneaky dalmatian that escapes your clutches." My mother points at Cruella.

"Oh, but they didn't get Baby." The puffy haired women protests.

"And I, Maleficent… the evil list of them all… I will finally have my revenge. On sleeping beauty. And her relentless little prince." My mother says, looking at a mirror she had snatched from the Evil Queen. "Villains!"

"Yea."

"Our day has come. E.Q. Give her the magic mirror." My mother orders.

I smirk. This could be really useful. If Evie has something to help her in at least some way.

"This is your magic mirror?" Evie asks, looking at the small shard of a mirror, that was encased in a cheap frame.

"Yeah, well it ain't what it used to be." says the Evil Queen. "But then again, neither are we!" She laughs. "It will help you find things."

"Like a prince?" Evie asks breathlessly.

"Like my waistline." The Evil Queen jokes.

"Like the magic wand! Hello!" My mother shouts, exasperated.

She then claps her hands together, "My Spell Book. My books. I need my—- that book."

The Evil Queen snaps at the fridge.

"Oh, Ah! The safe. The safe. Queen help me! I never can figure this thing out."

I wonder if my mother will ever realise it was just a fridge.

"Come darling, come." She calls me. I instantly go to her side. My eyes never once left the book. "There she is. It doesn't work here, but it will in Auradon. Remember? When we were spreading evil and ruining lives."

"Like it was yesterday." The other woman nods.

Maleficent turns to her daughter, "This book has been passed down our family for centuries. I've had many memories with it, and now, you will be making your own memories." I begin to reach for the book, but my mother pulls it back before me fingers can even graze it. "By doing exactly as I tell you.

She hands me the book.

The second I touch it's covers, I feel an electric current run through my fingertips, and spread throughout my entire body. It shoots down my spine.

I am snapped out of it by horn honking.

I have no idea what just happened.

But what I do know is, this book isn't my mothers.

It never was.

It's MINE!

For the reason Mal's acting a lot different, (she doesn't have a need for her mothers approval) is because she's 19 now. Technically an adult, and 3 years older than she was in the original. So she's smarter, more cunning, and doesn't intend to just be her mothers puppet.
