They want to govern a new planet because of the scarce resources they have from their previous world. Sallens are powerful foes that have inherited the might of the arcane rocks brought on Earth. Humanity could not stand a chance against them, leading to the destruction of our planet. The Gallants, the group of heroes ruled by the seven continents, failed to protect our world. Only one thousand humans remain alive in the aftermath. It is up to Stream Adams-the leader of Octagon, to reunite with his seven allies, return in time, and reset everything once and for all! Prologue-Where it all began

Year 2130

It has been thirty years since the dawn of superheroes first seen in the world. An asteroid fell upon us and brought gifts to the civilians. After those few years, the world granted us extraordinary abilities, instead of putting us into peril.

The animals surrounding us turned into vicious and more aggressive creatures, becoming monsters we had to face. They shared the power given by the meteor, like us human beings.

The source of the arcane came from outer space, known as celestial energy. Researchers claimed these rocks had been floating around the milky way and reached our galaxy. Upon further research, we discovered its massive nuclear energy, far from this world and merged with our DNA.

Each ability had unique properties, but could also mimic some other skills. Some could manipulate water and bend it with their will, while others had a super flight or sonic speed. But not all humans received such admirable prowess.

We tried replicating the energy coming from the rock but failed from our multiple attempts. We studied the origin of the arcane and tested several human beings. Through our studies, we understood more of this unique magic resting in all of us.

After a few years, we found nothing to mimic such divine power.

These celestial energies affected all creatures inside the Earth. Rabbits turned into gigantic species as large as whales, and the towering elephants had claws with their colourless tusk; I could go on forever.

Putting those monsters beside us, we, the government officials, encountered a colossal threat known as the Octagon. It had happened a year ago when we sensed immense arcane governing inside Stream Adams, a young man who can nullify any abilities within seconds.

Seven members of the Octagon proved to be a worthy opponent against the Gallants. They defeated them uncomplicatedly, using their unique abilities and their impeccable teamwork. Every member of their group was like a lion hunting in a pack. The Octagons were always ready to hunt and kill their prey.

The Octagon did not kill the Gallants but crippled them both with their physical and mental strength. All the Gallants lost their abilities and turned them into powerless human beings.

This group of individuals had the power to destroy the world. The scientist wanted to research their abilities, but they refused our tests and escaped from our facilities. They killed all the scientists inside the laboratory and destroyed all the documents.

They refused to work for the government after escaping our experiment trials. We invited them to be the next eight Gallants, but the Octagon was far more hostile than we ever imagined.

After a month of their escape, we discovered extraterrestrial species floating around our solar system. We dealt with two super-beings that could destroy our planet. These were the Octagon and the intelligent aliens who called themselves Sallens.

As the spacecraft hit the Earth, the United Alliance summoned a meeting.

"How can we defeat these Sallens if we do not have the Gallants?" The president of India said and pounded his fist on the board.

The Gallants were the seven representatives of the seven continents of the world. The president of each country chose their representatives and offered their mightiest hero to the United Alliance.

However, Octagon defeated them within a flash, leaving us with no other resources fighting against these extraterrestrial species. We could summon the Class S with Class A superheroes of other representatives such as South East Asia, North America, South America, European Union. But we doubted they could help us contain these terrorists.

The cups quivered and fell on the ground, forming a puddle of liquid beside our feet. Despite his ignited rage, all of us stayed focused on the meeting.

"Calm down, mate. Look at you, spilling the tea on the floor like a lunatic you are!" The prime minister of Australia.

The president of the Republic of Korea interposed, "Settled down, the two of you. We are not kids anymore."

"Let them be."

I strode from the shadows and revealed myself under the flickering light from above. The radiance almost blinded my eyes. But it was more than enough to instil fear in these leaders of the United Board of Alliance.

"Prime Minister, apologies for our behaviour." The three of them uttered in unison.

"I do not want to hear more of your squabbles." I silenced them and gestured my hand.

The monitor behind my back activated and showed the image of the city broadcasted by the news. The emerald-looking humanoid beings met our eyes and continued wreaking havoc in the streets, killing innocent bystanders and heroes defending the town.

As I changed the channels, we discerned various channels reporting the same thing, with the aliens as our enemies destroying our cities.

"Should we go there and stop them?" The prime minister of Japan spoke evenly.

"I have already sent a message to the aliens and communicated to their leaders."

All the eyes of the leaders locked onto mine as they heard my claim. My words filled the room with dread, since they already knew the topic behind the letter.

"This is ridiculous, Prime Minister! We should not give our planet to these bastards!" The president of India commented.

I raised my brow. "You dare oppose me, the leader of the United Alliance?"

His eyes turned vibrant red as he hurled the table in my direction with intense speed. The thrown object had a rate close to the speed of sound. However, my transformation was faster than anyone and anything.

My hand turned into an emerald metal and guarded myself against the hovering board, shattering it into millions of pieces. Some leaders present inside the room felt surprised as they saw the clouds of particles fluttering around us. Their eyes stretched into their foreheads, and their mouths gaped near their chins. I could even see their fingers quivering in fright as they continued watching the scene.

After a second, I morphed my feet into jetpacks with boosters that travelled quicker than the speed of sound towards the President of India.

The battle ended instantly after my knuckles came into contact with the president. His head exploded and created a blaring blast that resounded through the first floors of the building. The bones scattered into colourless shards and hit our surroundings, even killing the soldiers guarding the entrance.

He was the first person to oppose my decision ever since I created the Alliance.

"What have you done!"

The prime minister of Australia gawked at the crushed corpse of the president lying on the floor. A puddle of blood formed around his body and flowed endlessly and wet our feet.

"Whoever disagrees with my decision shall meet their fate. Any more objections before we could move on and meet with the Stellars?" I announced.

The rest of India's supporters charged in my direction, hoping to avenge their fallen leader. But they met their endings as I punched their bodies and bursted them, similar to the unfortunate man on the floor.
