After years of waiting
Standing at the airport, I was impatiently waiting to check out, so I could meet my sister, it has been 10 long years. Now I am back and have got my graduation completed abroad. As soon as I get out of the checking points, I readily scaned the whole area, as if I can find my sister waiting for me. I was so excited, because last night she told me she will come to pick me up from the airport. I miss her.
When I walked to the front door, I saw her waving her graceful hands. I was mesmerized by her beauty and how much she had grown up in these years, I was struck, standing dumbfounded there for a moment.
"Brother!". I came back to my senses when she cheerfully called me over.
As soon as I reached near her, she jumped into my embrace. Ah! . I have long awaited this moment . I was crazily lasting for her warmth. she could bring back the life in me just with her smile, I don't care about rest of the world.
I will not let go of this warmth again, I won't sacrifice my happiness for anyone but her.
"welcome back, brother". she greeted me with the tears of joy. That expression really told me how happy she was to see me again.
Finally the moment I have been waiting for is here....Again! In my arms is the girl that once used to comfort me with her little hands and herself whenever I felt down. Now she is like the one who is specially made fit to be in my arms only. And I am going to take care of her from now on ...
With these thoughts in my mind ..
I replied to her passionately, "thank you Reiko, I missed you."
After that the driver came, and we left the airport together.
On our way home, it was a peaceful silence within the car.
I watched her, her hair swaying as she was immersed in her thoughts, looking outside the window. Such a beautiful sight .. I sighed in Aww.
"why didn't father came with you?" I asked her, interrupting her thoughts, as to break the silence between us.
"he is busy in a meeting. he will join us for dinner." she just simply replied to the question.
with this we reached our destination....
