**CALLUM'S POV***
When I had left Nolan in his room, I felt like there were a million bugs crawling all over each other in my stomach. I was nervous to be heading back to the Royal Wing of the palace. After listening to what Nolan had said, I was terrified and feared for my life. I mean, why did people think that I brought that girl here for me? What was the matter with them?
It was a widely known fact that I had vowed to never take another lover other than my wife. I loved her dearly and wanted to spend my life proving that to her. I didn't need a mistress or anything like that. I just needed my one and only true love.
I bore the mark of her affection just as she bore mine. We were a match, a pair, a perfect set. Our lives were perfect. All I had to do was not anger my wife and I never had to fear for my life. And I always showed her that I adored her very much.
