Finishing The Tool

**NOLAN'S POV**

I picked Addie up at her door like I always did. It was easy for me since all I needed to do was walk out of my door and I was at hers. I had to walk across the hall, it wasn't that skinny of a passageway or anything like that. Still, I was right there, so why not take her with me every time that I went into work?

"Good morning, Addie." I smiled at her the moment that she came out of the room.

"Good morning, Nolan." She returned the smile. It almost seemed like yesterday had never even happened. "Are you ready for work today?"

"I am." Addie started to walk ahead, the skirt she was wearing swishing slightly as she walked. "You look lovely this morning, did you do something different than usual?" I don't know what it was, but she looked to me like she was several times prettier than usual. Did she put something on her face? On her skin? In her hair? Something? I didn't know what it was, but she was different somehow.
