Chapter 241- Addie – The Ball Part 2 (Volume 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

My heart was pounding as I scanned the crowds of people around me. I still didn't know who it was that had spoken, who had said those things behind me, and that was more terrifying than anything else. Who were they? What did they want? And what had I supposedly done? 

What was worse was the fact that, even though I was scanning the crowd, I didn't know who I was looking for. I wouldn't know who the person was, even if I did look right at them. And that was possibly the most terrifying thing that I could imagine. I didn't want to think about that, about how I could be staring right at that person, and not even know it.

"Where are you?" I whispered more to myself than anything else as I scanned the crowds of people. "Who are you?" I guessed that whoever had spoken would be watching me more than the others, they would be paying more attention to me than anyone else, but there was no one. At least no one who was close to me at the moment.
