**NOLAN'S POV**
It was hard to believe that Addie and I were already back home for the break between terms. We had gotten to the Academy earlier than almost anyone. Truly, I think that we had arrived first, because Viceman and Stealth never left. And I was sure that the headmaster never left the school either.
That wasn't the point though. It had been a hell of a term. With Addie having become a professor, which yes, I knew before she did and didn't tell her. I didn't want her to talk herself out of it because she was too worried about her abilities. She is a wonderful and smart woman, and I knew that she would be able to handle it. Still, I had felt bad about letting her be blindsided like that.
From here on out though, I will not hide things from her. I didn't need her to think that I was a bad person because I didn't tell her what was happening around her and myself. We were a team, even if we had to hide it.
