Chapter 191- Addie – First Day of Classes Part 2 (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

Jurvis was the first student to arrive in the classroom, and that was a good thing. I wanted to be set up and ready as the others made their way inside and settled into their seats. The moment that I entered the room, I felt a little calmer and ready to start.

In a way, I think that the readiness came from the runes that were filling the room. The ones that formed the anti-cheating spells that I was familiar with. I didn't know if there were other students that could feel those runes or not, but I did. I was always able to pick up on them when I entered these places, and it was a familiar comfort for me.

My desk and lectern were at the front of the room, next to a large chalkboard that would be used for note taking. I noticed that Kenna was setting her things up at a smaller desk someone had brought in for her. She would be with me often in these classes, unless I told her to be somewhere else.
