Chapter 186- Addie – A Word with the Headmaster (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

As soon as the assembly of sorts was over, I wanted to hurry away, to see my friends and talk to them about what had happened. I wanted to tell them what was going on, and how the current year was going to go. That was the plan anyway.

"Addie?" The headmaster called out to me the moment that I started to step away. "Can I have a word with you?" There was an intense light in his eyes as he looked at me. He wasn't angry, but there was something important that he clearly needed to talk to me about.

"A..alright." I nodded at him. I waved at my friends, showing them that the headmaster wanted to speak to me. They had seen the exchange, so they understood it as well. They nodded, clearly disappointed, but not at all upset about the turn of events. I would see them later. There was still time before classes were due to start.
