Exams (part 2)

It's been thirty minutes since I entered the waiting room and a lot less passed the test then I expected which was about 58 people including me and Kai, passed which was small compared to the 200 participants before 'Man, there's a lot of people here.' I thought "I wonder what will be in the physical exam." Kai said excitedly "To be honest, I'm a little nervous." I replied "Well don't be, remember you can use magic in the exams as long as you don't intend on hurting the other players in the physical portion." Kai said.

[The physical exam will begin in 30 seconds, you will be teleported to the course in ten seconds] The PA system announced Kai then stood up "What are you doing?" I asked "Well we're about to teleport, so I don't want to dirty my clothes." He said, the scenery then suddenly changed and I fell onto the ground, I then heard a audience 'I forgot, the last two portions of the exams are public.' I thought.

I looked around and we were in a very large field with giant stadium stands on each side, I then noticed that Alex and Sam were in the audience in the front row and next to them were my parents Toby and Cynthia Grant, Toby was a man in his early 40's with brown hair and wore a grey light jacket with jeans and brown steel-toe boots, Cynthia was a women in her late 30s with brown hair in a pony tail, she wore a blue button up jacket, black leggings and boots.

"Looks like everyone I know is here." Kai said as he looked around the stadium, I got up from the ground wiping dirt of of me "I wonder what'll be in the Physical exam." Right after I said that the ground in front of us begun to open and out came a obstacle course that begun with rock climbing that twisted to were the climber had to hang from the grips over a huge pit that seemed endless, I look down into the pit and I could see water and something was moving in it, I didn't know what but it was something.

[The Physical exam will begin in 3.. 2.. 1] The PA system said before making a air horn sound signifying the start of the exam, everyone started to run over the rock wall but I stood still 'This is crazy, I can't rock climb, even in my old life I sucked at it !' I thought but then a thought occurred in my head 'I could make a bridge, yeah I'll make a bridge, I've made one before but that was a model sized one, this one will take a lot of energy though.' I thought.

I raised both my arms and begun to try and make a bridge out of solid fire, I learned a few years back that Magical fire is different from regular fire as it can act like a solid and not burn the user of the fire but will burn others that touch it, I found this out with the model fire bridge, it didn't burn me when I picked it up but it did burn Alex when she did, luckily it didn't scar.

My arms begun to glow red as the fire bridge was forming, after it was completed I begun to cross it but after a few steps I heard something, it was the sound of splashing coming from behind me, I turned around and noticed the my bridge is dissipating and the there were fish eating it and not just any fish 'Oh Shit! Blue-Bellied Piranhas!' Unlike their Red-Bellied cousins, the Blue-bellied Piranhas only eat magical energy and are more of a parasite but that doesn't make them any less dangerous though in this school I'm pretty sure that these piranhas won't get me as Space Magic will probably teleport me to the stands.

I began to run as fast as I could to the other end of the bridge, I nearly made it but one of the Piranhas decided to bite my butt which hurts causing me to trip over my own foot but thankfuly not into the pit but on the ground in front of it, I ripped the Piranha of my butt and I caught it chewing on two pieces of fabric 'No it didn't.' I thought as I patted my butt,'It did' I thought, the piranha had bit through my pants and underwear and made my butt bleed a little, I got back up and took the fabric out of the Piranhas mouth before tossing it back into the pit as I used my Time magic to repair the hole "Never in my life have I felt embarrassed by a fish." I said to myself.

I continued onward towards the next obstacle and this time it was another pit but this time it had multiple metal poles in a dotted pattern, though when I looked a little closer some of the poles seem to have melted on the sides at the top 'Someone probably used fire magic for a better grip, but that means I can't use them because metal can retain heat very well.' I thought "Time for a little thunder." I said to my self, I pointed my hand at a pole and it glowed yellow this time, a buzzing feeling went through my whole body and electricity shot out of my hand towards the pole.

when the electricity struck the pole it then dispersed along the other poles to make a path of electricity, when I stepped onto the path it bounced a little like a trampoline.

*In an Obsevation room*

There were many silhouetted individuals including Adrian Falmoy watching the exams unfold on a giant screen, "This years bunch shows plenty of potential, they'll fit nicely with the Recommended's." One of the silhouettes said with a male voice "Indeed, especially Kizuki and Grant." A female said, "I would have to agree with you one that, Kizuki seems to have excellent mobility and did surprisingly well on the written test." Another male said "While Grant thinks more outside the box to adapt to his size, I think we have a good group this year." A male with a deeper voice said "Well we'll have to see when the battle test start." Adrian said
