Chapter 13

[Haruka's POV]

It was already morning, it's 7 am almost two hours since I woke up, Touko had also come half an hour ago for her breakfast and now I'm alone in the room.

"Well, today I can finally use it" - I thought out loud while I had the dungeon key in my hands.

'So one last check of what I have...' - I thought, I woke up early to put a few things in my inventory just in case.

So what I bring would be, 2 sets of clothes other than what I'm wearing, food, a lot of water, a llesquero and some oyas in case I need to cook, wood and flammable things for the fire.

And finally the items I will use today, like my enchanted leather shoes, my 4-star sword, disposable clothes, and some knives just in case.

"I think I'm ready..." - I thought, I would have liked to have brought an axe, among other things, but I don't have one here in this house, so I'm content with what I have.

"Okay, let's go there." - I said and did what the system told me to do.

I used the dungeon key as if I was opening a door, then half of the key disappeared into the air, ignoring the oddity, I turned the key and then it disappeared and a blue energy door began to form in front of me.

Then the blue energy began to disappear and the only thing left was a wooden door with a strange appearance in front of me.

"Nothing strange..." - I said while looking at the door, it was a wooden door without many decorations, although on the top there was a carving of a zombie head.

'Well, this will be useful if I'm going to enter a cave-type dungeon or an open space type...' - I thought, if it's a cave-type dungeon then I'm not going in.

It would be suicidal to enter such a dungeon without prior experience, on the other hand, if it is an open dungeon, then I enter.

Then I stretched my hand towards the door handle to open it, but before I could touch it, I realized something...

"Fuuuu... I didn't think I'd be so nervous" - I said while I saw my hand shaking because of my nerves.

"Come on, I now live in a supernatural world, this will be a good opportunity to take advantage of..." - I said trying to calm down, if I am already nervous about going to face zombies, then I don't want to imagine how I will be with the monsters that there would be in this world H...

So after calming down a little, I opened the door, as I did so what I received was the light from outside and a blast of fresh air on my face.

"So outer dungeon?" - I looked inside and it was not difficult to realize that I was outside.

[MISSION: Kill your first zombie.

Reward: Depends on the rank of the zombie you kill.

Punishment: none. (But if you can't even kill a zombie then you better leave while you're still in a safe zone)

This mission can continue to be completed as long as you kill a zombie with a higher rank than the previous one]

"..." - I couldn't say much to the note, since he was right, if I couldn't even kill a zombie then it's not worth staying inside.

Taking a deep breath and releasing it through my mouth, I relaxed my nerves even more and entered the dungeon.

Of course, not before taking out my sword and carrying it in my hand, who knows if I will need it so soon. And I also didn't forget to activate the "eyes of the beast" in its passive state.

So after I finished entering the door I turned back because I heard the door move and then the door closed by itself and the key to the dungeon appeared in the lock.

I removed the key and the door disappeared.

"Well, now yes, I am "Trapped" in here..." - I said, but even though I said it I know that this place is a safe area that I can return to, so I shouldn't worry so much.

"Well, here we go..." - I said out loud and then I walked forward.

'...' - and as I was about to walk, I could see a zombie that clearly wasn't there before I entered.

"Fortunately it's not close..." - I said after sighing. The zombie is a few hundred meters away from me so it hasn't noticed my existence yet.

"So how should I do this... Silent stealth or loud attack..." - I asked myself as I began to walk carefully towards the zombie.

I'm not going to lie, my nervousness attacked again and this time with more force than before, my heart felt like a drum from beating so much. But I didn't stop, if I do I'll want to back off and I don't want that.

'If I'm not mistaken, low-level zombies are blind and the only sense that works well is their hearing...' - I thought as I crouched down and grabbed a somewhat large stone from the ground.

'Let's check if it's true..." - Then without further ado I threw the rock in such a way that it would make the zombie turn its back to me if it followed the sound of the rock falling to the ground.

Then the rock collided with another rock and made a loud sound which in turn made the zombie "look" towards that place and start walking following where the sound was.

'Okay... I understand, I don't have to make noise near the zombies...' - I thought while nodding, I also understood that I have to be careful because the zombies despite their appearance make some rather fast turns for beings that move slowly.

'Come on, there is no object that can make noise while I walk, so don't turn around.' - I thought and then without further ado I walked towards the zombie carefully and half crouched.

When I was close I raised the sword and made a strong cut.

The zombie didn't have time to react as half of its head was cut off. The zombie's body then seemed to have the threads holding it up cut and it fell to the ground.

"Gross..." - I said as I walked away from the zombie's body and the blood.

'...' - I was even surprised that the first thing I thought after killing the zombie was 'gross' instead of having a panic attack or something for killing a former human...

'Do I have some mental problem?' - I thought, I certainly don't have problems with blood or organs, because I worked as a butcher before, but I thought I would at least vomit or something like that after killing the zombie.

"Although my body is certainly going through a nervous breakdown..." - I said as I saw my hands shaking, but other than that I could think normally as usual.

'Well, whatever, better this way, I just hope my body calms down quickly...' - I thought with a shrug since there's no point in worrying about that, so I focused on what's important.

[MISSION: Kill your first zombie. (Completed)

Reward: 10 system points for killing a zombie (F-rank)]

"What the hell? So little?" - I thought out loud after seeing the reward I got at least I thought I would get 100 points or something.

"So I need to kill 100 F-rank zombies in order to get 1,000 points and be able to make a Gacha roll of 10?... That will be difficult..." - I thought out loud, if I had a gun I wouldn't complain so much, but I'll be killing zombies with a sword so it will take a while to kill 100 zombies.

"Well, whatever, it's not much different than completing mission by mission..." - I shrugged after thinking about it for a bit. Even killing zombies seems easier than looking for girls to have sex with.

So without further ado I started walking since I want to take advantage of all the time I have on this Sunday.

Walking it didn't take long until I reached a slope and looking ahead I could see that there was a town.

This town I could see had some zombies on the streets.

[Mission: Zombie Killer.

Objective: Kill all the zombies you encounter.

Reward 1: You get system points for every zombie killed, the amount you get depends on the rank of the zombie killed.

Reward 2: You get 1 stat point for every 10 zombies killed. (1/10)

Punishment: None. (But you'd miss out on these juicy rewards.)

The host can choose to get the rewards right away or wait until the quest is complete.

The quest ends when you kill the zombie boss inside the dungeon.]

"Wow... Now it's worth it..." - I thought and couldn't help but feel more motivated after reading the quest rewards.

So what if I have to kill a few zombies as long as I get more stat points, I could kill up to 10,000...

"Nahh..." - I shook my head at the thought, killing a few hundred zombies is already plenty and enough.

"Well... Let the slaughter begin..." - I said and then headed towards the zombie village.

I didn't know how to make Haruka kill the zombie, I imagined many possibilities, but in the end I chose that one, although while I was writing I was wishing that I had given him a gun the first time he made Gacha.

He would have just had to shoot and that was it, so I would have avoided those problems, even if it would have only been temporary because at some point he was going to end without running out of bullets.

Anyway, I also wanted to avoid the part where he gets half traumatized by having killed and so on, to continue with the story.

Another thing is that I discovered a good magical girl and monster manga to add, it really has a spectacular animated chapter in my opinion, although the drawing of the manga in the first chapters leaves a lot to be desired, I was going to tell it yesterday, but I forgot.
