Miri has now arrived at the place where the head maid has already begun to assign the maids their tasks.

Miri waited for the head maid to call her and assign her work for the day.

Finally, the head maid called Miri over and informed her of the tasks she had to complete today. I'm tired of always getting the bad jobs.

Regardless, I should really stop complaining so much about things I can't change, as getting worked up only drains my energy unnecessarily. However, I still have no desire to do laundry and clean toilets.

Miri accepted her fate and slowly started carrying the heavy laundry baskets full of clothes to the public baths and toilets.

Although I would like to take a short break now, there is still a lot of work waiting for me.

If I want to have something to eat today, I should hurry a bit. I don't want to miss lunch or be late, as I would get very little or no food at all if I don't make it to the distribution point on time where the meals are handed out.

Miri now began washing the dirty clothes of the maids and guards. When Miri finished with that, Miri had to do the task that Miri least desired, which was cleaning the toilets.

Why do I have to do this? This is literally the dirty work that no one wants to do. It's just disgusting to clean other people's toilets, and it's not comparable to cleaning your own toilets.

Miri looked at the toilets with a disgusted expression on her face and held her nose with a cloth as she began to clean them.

Miri was now finished cleaning the toilets and said to herself, ".Finally, the dirty work is done.

I should hurry up a bit since I still want to make it to lunch on time, and I've already spent more than enough time here."

Miri left the restroom and made her way to the food counter. She slowed down a bit as she noticed a maid coming up behind her, trying to rush past her.

The maid turned into one of the hallways, but she fell to the ground before she could turn into one of the corridors.

But before the maid could comprehend what had happened, she saw a tall, beautiful woman with black hair and red eyes who had bumped into her. As the maid realized who had bumped into her, she froze in fear and couldn't speak any coherent words anymore.

Miri hid behind a pillar and observed the situation, wondering if the woman was one of the princesses from the Imperial Palace.

The princess looked at the maid with an angry and disgusted expression and screamed, "You stupid pice of shit, how dare you bump into me! Don't you have any eyes?!"

The maid tried to apologize, "I'm sorry, Princess Yuki. Please don't do anything to me. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." The maid trembled with fear. The princess looked into the frightened maid's face and said, "So, I shouldn't hurt you, huh? Who do you think you are to tell me what to do?"

The princess grabbed the maid firmly by her hair and yanked her off the ground, looking into her face. She began to slap her hard, causing the tear-streaked face of the maid to turn as red as a tomato from Princess Yuki's relentless blows.

The princess spat in the maid's face and struck her in the stomach. The princess let go of the maid's hair, causing her to whimper and fall to the ground.

Miri's legs started trembling as she watched the situation from her hiding place. Miri tried to calm herself down and whispered to herself, "I have nothing to do with this.

I was just a random observer of this situation." Miri tried to reassure herself and softly said the words, "Everything will be fine, Miri. No one will hurt you. Nothing will happen to me. I want nothing to do with this. What kind of crazy princess is this?"

Miri slowly left her hiding place with trembling legs and made her way back towards the toilets, even though she had originally planned to go forward to the food counter.

Miri glanced slowly behind her to check if the situation had calmed down. Miri shuddered in fear when she realized that the princess had noticed her, and the princess looked at Miri with a sadistic smile, licking her tongue across her lower lip.

After seeing how the princess looked at her, Miri instinctively started running away without once looking back, until she reached the toilets and hid, taking a moment to rest and calm herself down.

Tears welled up on Miri's face. "Damn, what just happened? I don't want anything to do with this. I'm scared. I don't want to be beaten up by a crazy princess. And why did she look at me so strangely?"

Miri stayed in the bathroom for a while, trying to calm herself down and forget about what had happened earlier.

As Miri gradually regained her composure, she left the restroom with a strange feeling in her stomach and slowly made her way to the food counter.

Miri arrived at the food counter and noticed that she was the last one in the small line. With a pale face, Miri accepted her meal and looked for a quiet place to eat. She sat on a small wall and slowly began to eat her mini portion.
