The Ninja Poké-Showdown

After dealing with the Diglett, Ashlyn and her friends continued to find the Fuchsia Gym. But finding the gym was not easy.

"Man, I didn't think that the Fuchsia gym would be so hard to find." Ashlyn complained.

"You said it." Misty agreed.

"Just why would someone build a gym all the way out here?" Ashlyn questioned.

"Why don't we take a break?" Brock suggested and spotted a small waterfall, "And look there's a small waterfall over there."

Ashlyn, Misty, and the Pokémon nodded.

The gang all had their Pokémon out. The gang had spent a week in the forest, Ashlyn was training with her Pokémon which were her Nidoran couple and Natsu. Ashlyn's other Pokémon who were out were Tesla, Lucario, Pidgeot, Azure, Bulbasaur, Rory, Scyther, Squirtle, Dratini, Searius, Primeape, and Boltund. Misty let all of her water Pokémon which were Staryu, Starmie, Goldeen, Dewgong, Vaporeon, Mudkip, Lapras, Cloyster, Tentacool, and Horsea, in the lake nearby along with some of Ashlyn's water Pokémon. Except Jynx and Psyduck were on shore. Brock had his Pokémon out which were Onix, Geodude, Zubat, Weepinbell, Rhyhorn, Sandslash, Magnemite, Machoke, Exeggutor, Golem, Vulpix, and Diglett. The gang had spent a week in the forest, Ashlyn was training with her Pokémon which were her Nidoran couple and Natsu. At the moment, Brock was brushing Vulpix's fur with a brush.

"Hey Ashlyn," Misty said, "have you decided which Pokémon to use?"

"Fuchsia Gym uses Poison types, so I've figured to use Natsu and my Nidoran's." Ashlyn replied while looking at her phone, trying to the Fuchsia Gym.

"I like that idea," Brock commented, "Besides Poison vs Poison can work."

Ashlyn glanced over at Lucario who looking at the trees. 'Lucario, what's wrong?'

'(I sense that a Pokémon is watching us.)' Lucario replied.

'A Pokémon, why?' Ashlyn asked.

'(Don't know. But I'll keep an eye on it.)' Lucario told her.

'Okay.' Ashlyn nodded.

After their break, they started preparing to continue search for the Gym.

"Let's head off," Ashlyn said after getting all of their Pokémon back into their Pokéballs, except Tesla, Lucario, Boltund, and Psyduck.

"Wait a minute, let's wait for Psyduck." Misty said as they looked over at her Psyduck, who was drinking water from the lake.

"Psyduck, cold water can make headache even worse." Misty advised and Ashlyn looked over to see Psyduck was now standing near them. It looked at Misty with a blank stare and held it's head.

"Sometimes I just look at that Psyduck's face and I get a headache." Misty complained with annoyance.

"Come on guys, we better get going." Ashlyn said as they headed towards the gym.

"According to my phone, the Fuchsia City Gym is," Ashlyn pointed at the mansion in front of them, "right here."

"That's odd. Why is there an old mansion in the middle of nowhere?" Misty asked.

"I don't know. This place seems kind of spooky." Brock replied and turned to Ashlyn, "Are you sure that this is the Fuchsia Gym?"

"Well that's what the map on my phone says," Ashlyn stated and put her phone away, "Anyways, let's be careful once we go in, there's no telling what's in there."

Brock nodded, "That's true."

The gang decided to enter the building that seems to be the Fuchsia Gym.

The gang was walking down a corridor. The weird thing about it was that no one was around.

"Why does it seem like no one lives here?" Misty stopped and leaned against the wall when... "WAH!" She fell through a wall.

"Misty!/(Misty!)/Rai!/Arf!" Ashlyn, Brock, and the Pokémon exclaimed when they noticed one person from their group was missing.

Brock banged slightly on the wall, "It's a secret door." He stated.

"Secret door?" Ashlyn questioned.

"Yeah," Brock nodded and banged on the door lightly, "When you push the wall, it moves forward like a door."

They found Misty on the other side of the wall, pouting or frowning on the ground.

"What kind of place is this?" Misty asked.

"Well it's definitely not normal, considering that there's a secret door." Ashlyn replied.

"Venonat (Hello)."

Everyone looked to see a purple Pokémon with red eyes and antenna's on its head.

Ashlyn blinked, "A Venonat?" She took out her phone and scanned the Pokémon:

[Venonat, the insect Pokémon. Its eyes act as radar, enabling it to be active in darkness. It is attracted by light at night.]

Misty shuddered as Venonat was a bug Pokémon.

"What's a Venonat doing here?" Brock asked.

Venonat turned around and ran off. The gang was confused on why it left except for Misty who was glad that it was out of her sight.

"We should continue on, but we'll have to be very careful around here." Ashlyn warned and turned to Lucario, "Lucario, could you used your Aura Sense to examine the lay out of this place? We want to avoid any possible traps."

"(Sure thing.)" Lucario nodded and closed his eyes. Then he opened his eyes, "(Got it.)"

The gang nodded and continued on walking. Ashlyn knew that this mansion had traps in it. She didn't want to fall into those traps. She could almost imagine how painful it was for her male counterpart. But she was determined to face Koga, the Fuchsia Gym Leader.

As they were walking down another corridor, looking around when Lucario stopped all of a sudden and looked down at the floor.

"(Stop!)" Lucario yelled.

The gang stopped in their tracks at Lucario's shout and soon saw why he stopped. It was a Pokémon in the shape of a large Pokéball without the button in a hole in the floor.

"A Voltorb!" Brock and Misty exclaimed in shock.

Ashlyn checked it out on the phone:

[Voltorb, the ball Pokémon. It looks just like a PokéBall. It is dangerous because it may electrocute or explode on touch.]

Ashlyn, Misty, Brock, and the Pokémon quickly walked around it and went down another corridor, just in case the Voltorb was going to explode.

"Okay, what is wrong with this place?" Misty asked, clearly irritated, "First a secret door and then a Voltorb booby trap."

"Venonat (Over here.)" They heard a familiar Pokémon voice and saw the Venonat again.

"It's that Venonat." Ashlyn said.

Venonat turned around and ran off again, "Venonat (This way.)"

Brock walked forward, when BAM! "OW!" He rubbed his face.

The girls gasped, "Brock!"

"You okay?" Ashlyn asked.

Brock nodded, "Yeah. But what did I hit?" Brock asked.

Lucario moved his paw forward and felt something and sighed, "(Great, now it's an invisible wall.)"

Misty moved backwards and felt something. She placed her hand on it, "You gotta be kidding me?! Another invisible wall?!"

"Raichu rai rai? (What is with this place?)" Tesla asked.

Ashlyn shrugged and leaned against the wall and unexpectedly it opened.

"Woah!/RAI!" Ashlyn and Tesla yelped as they fell through.

"ASHLYN!/TESLA!" The group exclaimed.

Ashlyn was on the other side of the wall and she twitched on the ground.

"Okay this is getting really annoying." Ashlyn commented.

Tesla nodded, "Rai."

Then Tesla's ears perked up and saw throwing stars aiming towards her trainer. Her tail quickly turned into a metallic color and slapped all of the stars away.

Tesla growled as her cheeks crackled with electricity, "Rai?! (What's the big idea?!)"

Just then the rest of the gang was able to get through the door.

"(Ashlyn!)" Lucario ran to her side, "(Are you okay?)"

"I'm fine." Ashlyn replied as Lucario helped her up. "Why were you throwing ninja stars at me?! You could have killed me!" She exclaimed angrily.

"Hahahahahaha!" A female laugh was heard.

"Who goes there?" Ashlyn narrowed her eyes at the laugh.

The laughter came from the other side of the room. In front of them was a woman with long green hair tied up in a ponytail, blue eyes, and wore in a bright pink ninja outfit.

"Born in darkness, living in darkness, such as a fate of a ninja, I am Aya, ninja warrior." The woman announced proudly.

"But don't you think that color is a little bright for a ninja?" Misty asked, brow arched, pointing at Aya's outfit.

"I didn't ask for your fashion opinion." Aya snapped. Then she held up a throwing star, "But tell me, didn't you enjoy my little star treatment?"

"No." Ashlyn replied with a deadpanned expression.

Tesla, Lucario, and Boltund growled.

"Besides, you can't just chuck throwing stars around. It's dangerous." Ashlyn advised.

"That's right. Tell her, Brock." Misty and Ashlyn looked over to Brock, but to their annoyance and not very surprise, Brock was staring at Aya with red cheeks. As if using teleportation he was in front of her taking her hand in his.

"I think that electric pink suits you perfectly, and you certainly look lovely." He complimented in a flirty tone.

But Aya didn't like the compliment and slapped his hands away. Misty, Ashlyn, and the Pokémon sighed at his behavior. Then the gang noticed a Venonat hiding behind Aya's leg.

"That's the Venonat we kept running into." Ashlyn pointed at the Bug Type Pokémon and turned to Lucario, "Is that also the same Venonat you had sense before, Lucario?"

Lucario nodded, "(Positive.)"

"This Venonat informed me that some people entered the mansion," Aya stated. "I won't let you leave this mansion without first having a Pokémon battle with me first."

"I will gladly battle you." Ashlyn said.

Aya and Ashlyn stood ready for their Pokémon battle as Lucario, Tesla, Boltund, Brock, and Misty stood to the side, away from the battle.

"We shall battle with one Pokémon each," Aya announced, "I choose Venonat."

"Okay," Ashlyn took out a Pokéball, "Nidoran, I choose you!" Ashlyn's female Nidoran got her teeth ready to fight. "Nidoran, use Poison Fang."

Nidoran's fangs turned purple and she charged at Venonat to bite it, but Venonat dodged before Nidoran could do that.

"Venonat use Stun Spore!" Aya ordered.

"Use Dig to dodge and then Super Fang!" Ashlyn countered.

Nidoran dug into the ground before Venonat's Stun Spore could hit her. Then Nidoran appeared behind Venonat and her teeth turned white and bit down on Venonat really hard which made it cry out in pain.

"Use Psybeam!" Aya yelled.

Venonat released a multi-colored beam from its eyes.

"Protect and use Poison Sting." Ashlyn ordered.

Nidoran projected a green colored barrier which protected her. Then she fired purple darts, from her mouth, at Venonat. After the Poison Sting hit Venonat, it started to look sick and was going purple in the face.

"Oh no, Venonat!" Aya gasped.

Suddenly Nidoran began to glow and then turned into a bigger version of herself.

Ashlyn scanned her female Nidoran's new form:

[Nidorina, the poison pin Pokémon. The evolve form of Nidoran. When it senses danger, it raises all the barbs on its body. These barbs grow slower than Nidorino's.]

Aya held out a Pokéball and sighed sadly, "Return Venonat."

"Good job." Ashlyn praised Nidorina as she gave her a petting for winning who smiled at the affection.

Suddenly a Voltorb rolled towards them.

"Ah! It's that Voltorb!" Misty exclaimed.

"Oh no!" Ashlyn yelped.

Then Voltorb glowed and exploded, causing smoke to cover the room. Everyone except Aya was coughing.

A silhouette of a man appeared in the smoke.

"You still got a lot to learn, Aya." A masculine voice said from the smoke.

As the smoke cleared, a man appeared in front of them. He had spiky black hair and eyes and wore a blue ninja uniform with a long red scarf wrapped around his neck.

Aya knelt down and bowed, "Honorable Brother, I have failed." Aya admitted sadly.

"And you're Aya's older brother? My name is Brock. You sure have a very nice sister. It's a pleasure to meet... Ah!" Brock yelped when Misty slammed him on the head with a mallet.

"This is no time to kiss up, Brock." Misty stated with an angry expression.

Ashlyn blinked twice when she saw Koga and pretended not to know him, "Are you Koga, the Fuchsia Gym leader?"

"I am." Koga confirmed.

"So this is the Fuchsia Gym." Ashlyn said.

"But were the traps really necessary?" Misty complained.

"My name is Ashlyn Ketchum," Ashlyn introduced herself, "And I wish to challenge you."

Koga looked at Ashlyn and grinned, "I sense a real fighting spirit in you, if you defeat me you will earn the Soul Badge."

"This will be a two on two Pokémon battle." Koga announced the rules.

Ashlyn nodded, "I understand and my first Pokémon will be Nidoran."

Ashlyn released her male Nidoran who stuck its horn in the air, ready to fight.

"I shall start with Venonat." Koga released his Venonat.

"Another Venonat? Does the Fuchsia Gym worship Venonat's or something like that?" Ashlyn questioned, brow arched.

Koga grinned, "Not quite."

Suddenly Venonat started to glow. It grew from a puff ball to a giant moth.

Ashlyn looked at the phone:

[Venomoth, the poison moth Pokémon. The evolved form of Venonat. It flutters its wings to scatter dust like scales. The scales leach toxins if they contact skin.]

"Oh great." Ashlyn muttered, frowning.

"Venomoth, use Stun Spore." Koga ordered.

Venomoth flapped its wings, releasing some golden powder towards Nidoran.

"Not again! Nidoran, use Dig to dodge and then Sludge Bomb!" Ashlyn countered.

Nidoran dug into the floor and jumped out from another area and fired globs of brown sludge from its mouth at Venomoth. The sludge bomb hit Venomoth, causing it to fall onto the floor.

Nidoran growled at Venomoth and started to glow. His body and size began to grow bigger. The glow died down, Nidoran had turned into a bigger version of himself.

Ashlyn looked at the phone:

[Nidorino, the poison pin Pokémon. The evolved form of Nidoran. It has a violent disposition and stabs foes with its horn, which oozes poison upon impact.]

"Interesting. Two evolutions in one battle." Koga smirked, "However let's continue our battle."

Ashlyn nodded, "Nidorino, use-"

BOOM!

Suddenly half of the ceiling collapsed, luckily not above them and only in front of them.

"What is that?!" Ashlyn asked when she saw a green, orange, and black striped curtain in front of them.

When the screen slid to the side, two umbrellas were opened in front of the person.

"Welcome to the show." Two familiar, yet annoying, voices said.

"Team Rocket." Ashlyn groaned.

"Now let our ancient performance begin." Jessie announced, "Prepare for trouble."

James grunted rapidly, "Make it double."

Jessie moved her umbrella to reveal a kabuki costume and makeup, "To protect the world from devastation."

James moved his umbrella up to reveal him also wearing a kabuki costume and make up, "To unite all people's within our nation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love."

"To extended our reaches to the stars above."

"Jessie."

"James."

"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare prepare to fight!"

Meowth jumped over, "Meowth! That's right! Now step aside while we pick up all your pretty little poisonous Pokémon." Meowth ordered.

"Forget it, Meowth." Ashlyn refused.

Jessie and James tried moving in their costumes only to trip and fall on Meowth.

"Jessie, it's too hard to move in these costumes." James complained.

"A ninja mansion calls for a kabuki star. We have to wear these outfits." Jessie concluded.

"Yes, but--" James began to complain.

"If you can't move, we'll lose the Pokémon." Meowth interrupted.

"You're right. Let's change." Jessie decided.

Jessie and James took off their costumes and into their familiar Team Rocket uniforms. Then they threw the Pokéballs, sending out Arbok and Weezing.

"We'll have to join forces to vanquish them." Koga declared.

"Right, Nidorino, go!" Ashlyn said.

"Go, Venomoth!" Koga said.

"Go, Venonat!" Aya called as she threw her Pokéball, sending out her Venonat.

"Step right up!" James said with a smirk and threw a net at the Pokémon, capturing them inside it.

"Lucario, Aura Sphere! Tesla, Boltund, Thunder!" Ashlyn called and Lucario and the Electric Pokémon ran forward, letting a few sparks appear on them. Lucario started to form an Aura Sphere.

Jessie smirked as she threw a net as well, catching them as well. The Pokémon called out in panic as they tried to get out of the net.

"Nidorino! Lucario! Tesla! Boltund!" Ashlyn called out.

Misty held a Pokéball, "We need you now, Starmie!" But before she could throw the ball, a light appeared outside of Misty's backpack, and Psyduck was out.

"Psyduck."

"Psyduck! You're not Starmie!" Misty shouted.

"Psyduck," Psyduck said as it held it's head and tilted it.

Misty growled before holding out another Pokéball, "This time I'll choose Staryu!" Psyduck stepped in front of Misty, holding it's head, much to her annoyance.

"You're Psyduck, not Staryu, don't you understand?!" Misty snapped.

"I think Psyduck wants to have a go." Ashlyn whispered to her.

Misty crossed her arms over her chest, "Fine, go if you want to."

Psyduck turned to her again, walking closer, standing behind her.

"Or maybe not." Ashlyn said while Misty looked at the edge of killing the poor Duck.

"You're driving me crazy!" She shouted as Psyduck backed away from her while Ashlyn held her back from behind her.

"Calm down, deep breath." Ashlyn instructed to her redhead friend.

Misty growled as she glared down at Psyduck, "What attacks Psyduck can do?"

Ashlyn took out her phone quickly and searched, "Let's see."

[Psyduck's attacks are: One: Tail Whip.]

Misty quickly calmed down and looked at Team Rocket, "Psyduck, Tail Whip attack, now!" Psyduck wagged it's tail back and forth but it was not effected whatsoever.

Ashlyn placed her hand on her face as she muttered, "Oh boy."

"How can you call that lame tail wag an attack?!" Misty shouted in embarrassment.

"It must have other attacks." Ashlyn searched her phone again.

[Psyduck's attacks; Number two: Scratch.]

"All right, Psyduck, Scratch attack, now!" Misty called.

Psyduck held it's hand up, running toward Arbok and before it could attack, the Cobra Pokémon bit it and held it's head in it's mouth. Psyduck started to scream and Arbok let it go. Psyduck ran back and forth as it held it's head.

Misty held her head, "What a totally pathetic Pokémon, now it's giving me a headache." She said.

Koga walked to a wall, pulling on a rope, opening up several ceiling panels and unleashing a large amount of Voltorb right in front of Team Rocket.

"What are they?" Meowth asked.

"I don't know what they are, but they are in the way!" Jessie said before she threw another net, pulling the Voltorb closer.

"Pretty dumb move." Ashlyn whispered.

"This is a nice little catch." Jessie smirked.

"I don't know what those things are, but I can use them to practice my bowling game." Meowth commented as he held one up.

James gasped in horror, "Those are Voltorb!"

"Voltorb?" Meowth asked in confusion.

All the Voltorb turned to Team Rocket angrily as they sparked before they exploded.

"Quickly." Koga told the gang and they followed him to a room with their Pokémon.

Ashlyn looked at the room in confusion while Tesla was on her shoulder and held onto Nidorino and Lucario while Lucario held onto Boltund.

"This room feels really weird." Ashlyn said.

"Yeah." Misty agreed.

"The walls, the ceiling...they all on a slant." Brock observed.

"This is a slanted room, to confuse our enemies." Koga explained.

Ashlyn tried to pull the net off of the Pokémon but they were all stuck.

"It's sticky," Ashlyn turned to Tesla and Boltund, "Can you two use your electricity?"

They tried but couldn't.

"Not even that." Ashlyn said.

Suddenly there was an explosion on the wall in front of us and we looked forward to see Team Rocket, with the Voltorb all in a bag, carried by James.

"There you are." Meowth said before they looked around the room in confusion.

"For some reason, I'm feeling a bit off." James commented.

"Hey! Give those Voltorb back!" Ashlyn ordered, angrily.

"Sure, there you go." Meowth rolled a Voltorb toward them, and it exploded.

After a moment, the smoke faded away and the gang saw Psyduck running back and forth in front of them.

"What's with this loser Pokémon?" Meowth insulted.

"Psyduck, you're just going to get hurt out there!" Misty shouted and held Psyduck's Pokéball, trying to bring it back inside but it kept running.

Ashlyn sighed, "Oh man."

Misty looked annoyed.

Meowth looked annoyed as well and he kicked Psyduck toward the gang, "Out of the way!"

Psyduck landed in front of them and it quickly got up to it's feet and ran back and forth again.

"It even got rejected by Team Rocket." Misty said sadly but running toward Psyduck.

"Looks like it's headache is getting worse." Ashlyn pointed out.

Misty knelt down and grabbed Psyduck, making it stop running but it didn't stop calling out it's name repeatedly.

"Calm down, Psyduck." Misty commanded.

Suddenly, Psyduck stopped as it closed it's eyes and we watched it in confusion. Psyduck opened it's eyes and surprisingly released blue rings from it's body toward Team Rocket.

"W--What's happening?" Jessie panicked as they froze.

"I'm frozen! I can't move!" James exclaimed.

"This must be one of Psyduck's attacks." Brock guessed.

"That must be Disable." Ashlyn held her phone out.

[Psyduck's attacks; Number three: Disable.]

Team Rocket suddenly were lifted up, along with Arbok and Weezing. The bag was dropped to the floor, releasing the Voltorb.

[Psyduck's attacks; Number four: Confusion.]

Team Rocket screamed as they were thrown out through the ceiling and into the sky.

"This place looks a lot nicer from the air!" James commented.

"And what else it looks like-" Meowth trailed off.

"TEAM ROCKET'S BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket screamed as they disappeared into the sky.

Everyone looked at Psyduck, seeing it was concentrating before they saw the sticky nets were melting from the Pokémon's bodies. Everyone smiled and looked at Psyduck as it relaxed.

"Good job, Psyduck." Ashlyn complimented.

"You had that kind of power all along?" Misty asked and Ashlyn held her phone out.

[When Psyduck's headache becomes severe, it uses amazing power.]

Psyduck held it's head and Ashlyn chuckled.

"That kind of talent is a real pain." Brock stated.

"Oh yeah." Misty agreed with a sigh.

Koga and Aya turned to Psyduck with a smile.

"Magnificent, that was a quite an impressive display." Koga complimented.

"I was very impressed by your performance." Aya said and they knelt in front of Misty and Psyduck.

"Young lady, would you consider trading your Psyduck for my Venomoth?" Koga offered.

"I'll gladly trade my Venonat." Aya offered.

Misty looked at Psyduck with a smile and hugged it, "Well, I wouldn't trade Psyduck for any Pokémon in the world."

Ashlyn was very relieved by that, she knew that ever since Psyduck became part of her team, Misty cared and loved the Duck Pokémon, even if she would never admit it.

"Misty, you couldn't wait to get rid of Psyduck." Brock pointed out.

"She can keep saying that, but in the end she would never do it," Ashlyn chuckled. Then she suddenly remembered the battle, "Hold it, the battle."

"(That's right! You still haven't finished your match with Koga.)" Lucario remembered.

Koga stood up, "Indeed."

Everyone was outside for the battle. Koga and Ashlyn were facing each other.

Ashlyn held out a Pokéball, "Go Natsu!"

Natsu was released and ready to fight.

Koga held a Pokéball, "Then I will choose..." He threw it up, "Golbat!"

Golbat is a large, blue bat-like Pokémon with purple wing membranes. It has small, slit pupiled eyes, tiny triangular ears with purple insides, and a massive mouth with two fangs in each jaw. It has short legs with long feet.

"Golbat?" Ashlyn asked as she held her phone.

[Golbat. Attacking with its sharp fangs, this Pokémon can drain three hundred cubic centimeters of blood per bite.]

Golbat was flying back and forth in front of Natsu.

"Be careful with this one, Natsu." Ashlyn warned.

"Golbat, Wing Attack." Koga ordered.

Golbat's wings glowed and drove down, ready to strike Natsu with its wings.

"Use Double Team!" Ashlyn countered.

Natsu created copies of himself which made Golbat miss the real one.

"Now use Ember attack!" Ashlyn ordered.

Natsu held his tail up, spinning around, letting sparks fly from his tail to keep Golbat away.

"Golbat, use your Screech attack." Koga commanded.

Golbat opened it's mouth wider and released thin yellow circles from it's mouth, causing a loud, piercing noise, making Natsu and all of them cover their ears.

"Ooh, I can't stand that noise." Misty complained.

"Ah! I'm getting goose bumps." Brock held his arms around himself in fright.

"Natsu, Flamethrower!" Ashlyn called.

The noise stopped as Natsu used the attack, making Golbat stop and dodge the attacks as Natsu kept trying to hit it with his Flamethrower, which he finally did when Golbat's wing got hit by the flames.

"Okay, finish it off with Fire Spin!" Ashlyn said.

Natsu opened his mouth and a spiraling flame was released, trapping and burning Golbat in a fiery tornado.

"Golbat!" Koga called before the tornado disappeared and Golbat fell to the ground, unconscious.

Ashlyn walked closer to Natsu and knelt down next to him with a smile and hugged him, "We did it!"

Natsu smiled at Ashlyn as Brock, Misty, and the Pokémon walked closer.

Koga returned Golbat into it's Pokéball and walked closer with a smile, "You have beaten me. Psyduck saved my Voltorb from being stolen by those thieves." He unfolded the map to show the Soul Badge, "This Soul Badge rightfully belongs to you."

Ashlyn stood up and took the badge with a smile. "Thank you," she said and looked at her new badge, "A Soul Badge, all right."

Koga looked at his sister, "We both have a lot to learn about battle. We will now train even harder, Aya."

"Yes, brother," Aya agreed with a smile and looked at Ashlyn, "And I hope when we'll meet again, we'll have another battle."

Ashlyn smiled, "Sounds good for me."

Brock suddenly grabbed Aya's hand, "I am more then happy to stay and help you train."

Misty grabbed his collar from behind in annoyance and dragged him away, "Cool off, will you?"

Ashlyn and her Pokémon exchanged an amused look and chuckled.

After that, we all said goodbye to Koga, Aya, and their Pokémon before heading out. They stopped by the Pokémon center to get Ashlyn's Pokémon checked up. Once they were all healed, Ashlyn sent Nidorina and Nidorino back to the coral for some rest after their training and battle. After that, they headed towards their next stop which was the Safari Zone.
