Snowstorm

The first thing I did after entering my own house was to run towards the kitchen and grab a glass of water for Leo. I poured the water from the sink as fast as I could into a glass before running upstairs. Finding that Leo still looked quite uncomfortable as his iris moved about under his eyelids, I instantly felt nervous and tried to unscrew the cap on the medicine bottle as fast as I could.

It was only then that I noticed my difficulty in doing so, as even after turning against the gap with several twisting motions, I was still unable to make the cap fall off. Since I was feeling frantic the entire time from the second I let the house till I’m back, I didn’t notice the numbness of my hands from staying out in the cold for too long.
