[This section is in Kane's POV]
Kane watched as Hunter left the presidential suite and entered the elevator. He seemed to be staring at Kane with a complicated gaze as the doors closed. However, there were no anger or sorrow in his eyes, just a form of... pity. Kane sneered on the inside and thought that he have never needed pity from any other person. Although, for some reason, seeing Hunter's care for him did give him some comfort.
Even though he did not tell Hunter about how hurt he was when he thought that the latter betrayed him, nor did he displayed it to the latter when he bounded him up just now, he still felt a lot better on the inside after figuring out that Hunter was not involved with his parent's death. Unfortunately, he had to supress his feelings for Hunter the whole way, which became seemingly impossible when he saw the latter's well-endowed body. It almost made him want to eat him up right then and there.
