Clock Turns Six

The Captain has just confessed that he has feelings for me and Ashley is on my case to get to the bottom of what I am hiding. She is convinced that there is something between me and the Captain. Of course, there is something between me and the Captain but I am not about to spill everything to her.

"I promise you nothing is going on between me and the Captain. Yes, I did go in there and gave him some pain medicine because I heard him moaning from pain. But that is all. Now, please take his food to him he needs it"

I can see that Ashley is not even a little bit convinced at what I am saying but she only stares at me while walking to the Captain's room. I, myself do not even know what is going on between us yet. How does she expect me to tell her something that I do not even know?
